"Washer dryer was a combo that didn’t really dry the clothes, even after hours so everything was hung on the thoughtfully provided drying rack. Couch had some stains that were a bit gross but we were able to use one of the extra duvets to cover it and sit down. Everything was clean-ish, but felt like a lived in apartment where things aren’t quite totally clean. Staff was lovely and likely would’ve tried to help correct but I didn’t bring the issues up after mentioning the couch situation and there wasn’t much of a reaction. Area was alright but not quite as central as I would’ve hoped (maps of Edinburgh are deceptive!), though a few bus stops are nearby that got us where we needed to go fairly quickly."

"The lobby and dinning areas are updated and welcoming. The halls between rooms are very tired and need a refresh. The room was clean but need updating as well."
