"The room was excellent and staff were great. A hairdryer in the room would be a nice amenity. The breakfast was excellent. Especially the made to order omelets. There is always plenty of variety for anyone’s tastes. However, the coffee has room for improvement. Could be just the brand y’all use but it was not good. Pool area is fine for the kids but not so much for those seeking quiet poolside relaxation. Perhaps an upgrade to a larger pool area like the Hilton. Something for everyone. The parking needs to be enforced to those not guests of the hotel. Seems patrons of Clayton’s overflow take hotel guests spots. Thank you for your attention to these matters. Will likely stay again. ☮️"

"We have been going to this resort for 4 years. Never had a problem. Loved it there. This year was awful. My son’s comforter was stained with either dry blood or some other bodily function. And then there was a cockroach the size of a matchbox car in our room. We tried to call the front desk 3 times and they did not answer. So my husband and son took pics of the roach and stain and went to the front desk. They were directed to a supervisor. They tried to keep low voices so none of the other guests could hear. The supervisor basically blew them off and told them to wait for the head of housekeeping. When she arrived she asked them if they would like another room. Yes! She then said we couldn’t because they were sold out. What?! Why did you offer? They said they would go back up and do a deep cleaning. They did this when we went to dinner. When we got back the roach was done and a new comforter was put on the bed. We were not offered anything and no one apologized. After we left I sent an email to their customer care. Never got a response. Tried the CEO, nothing. I found a 3rd email address and sent a message. I was asking for a refund at this point. We even left a day early. I finally got an email back instructing me to call the resort directly. Why would I do that? They didn’t do anything when I was there. Very disappointed. "

"I absolutely love it here!!!! I come for Mother’s Day, I did get upset because they couldn’t find me a frying pan, so I had to go purchase one on Mothers Day!!!!! I still give it 5 stars!!!! If management is reading this get some extra pots and pans for anyone that pays for the kitchen it should be there….. Pier Park is close and so was Walmart since the Winn Dixie closed and that was right across the street, front desk told me it’s turning into an Aldi’s so that’s cool!!!! The pool is 24 hrs so that’s an extra PLUS!!!!"
