"Stayed for 2 nights, we were out from 6am to 8pm for the day on our return room hadn’t been cleaned. Rang reception and they brought clean towels. Really disappointed. Bed sheets were stained and not the standard I would expect for a Malmaison. Also rooms are tired and a bit grubby, bathroom needs refurbished, leaking sink tap, water just ran onto floor. However, location is fab but there are better hotels nearby."

"This was our second time staying at the Clayton Hotel, we enjoyed it but felt the rooms require much better upkeep and deep cleaning. That being said the front of house staff are excellent. We really value how Mamadu the front of house supervisor went above and beyond for us in both our stays. Thank you Mamadu once again, and we hope to be back soon!"

"The room was extremely small, and the bathroom was not clean at all. The bed and sheets were dirty, and the floor was clearly not cleaned properly. There were no basic amenities in the room not even simple hotel slippers, tissues, or a small bottle of water. I was very disappointed with my stay and would not recommend this hotel to anyone, even for one night."

"This hotel I can not recommend highly enough to do it justice. Plenty of parking and cheap, hotel staff absolutely brilliant they are a credit to the hotel, can’t do enough for you,excellent service. Rooms clean and a good size. Breakfast was excellent aswell. I will definitely be stopping here again and recommend it to anyone to stop here."
