"Our stay at this beachfront home was wonderful from start to finish. The house was impeccably clean and the location was unbeatable — true beachfront with private stairs leading directly to the sand. One of our favorite features was the front yard perched above the seawall, giving us another peaceful spot to relax with ocean views. We also loved how thoughtfully dog‑friendly the home was. The deck could only be accessed from inside, which made it completely secure for our pup. The beds and linens were fresh and clean, parking was easy with plenty of room, and the ocean views from the dining and living areas were absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay."

"We loved our stay so much, we were disappointed we didn’t book it longer! This home truly felt like “home sweet home” the moment we walked in. It’s warm, welcoming, and beautifully inviting. The second-floor views are absolutely ah-mazing — we could sit and watch the ocean for hours. Waking up to that every morning was pure magic.We visited with our adult children and grandchildren, so we had a full house, yet it never felt crowded. Everyone had their own space and plenty of privacy. The layout is exceptionally well thought out — each area is thoughtfully designed for both togetherness and personal time. The kitchen is a dream for family cooking and gathering, and there are comfortable spots everywhere to relax.The home is comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The location on is perfect — quiet, beautiful beach access.Even though we checked and double checked we had packed everything, we still found we had missed things. The hosts were fast on getting back to us and arranged for us to retrieve our belongings and offered to ship them to us. The thoughtfulness and speed of communication was over and above. Thank you.We can’t recommend this property highly enough. We’re already planning our next trip back!"

"My family and I (5 adults) had a wonderful week at Sandy Feet Retreat. Our favorite thing was the close proximity to the beach. Perfect. Be aware that the bedroom downstairs doesn’t have an actual door. It was a curtain you pull. And it also has a small joining room that has bunk beds. That also is where the shared bathroom is. The porches are nice. All the supplies you could ever want are there. Kitchen was stocked. Plenty of paper products. It has a regular coffee maker with a carafe. We brought our Kcup machine. Plenty of chairs, beach umbrellas, toys, water toys etc. The bed in the upstairs master was so very comfortable. Ocean view was fantastic. I would highly recommend this beach house for a family. "

The house also includes indoor water features, courtesy of ceiling leaks through light fixtures on multiple floors. Beach vibes…inside.Appliances- present in spirit! Dishwasher and garbage disposal didn’t work upon arrival, two of three coffee makers are broken, which pairs well with the 7 coffee mugs for 20 people home. Minimalism Highlights continue with a moldy ice maker, clogged sink, and broken dishes—breakfast with a side of risk. Sleeping arrangements are refreshingly simple: Beds. That’s it. No distracting things like nightstands, dressers, or functionality. Outside, enjoy the septic system directly by the front door, overflowing and fragrant—perfectly placed since you’ll pass it every time you trek to the beach (no direct access, of course).Extras include cockroaches, no smoke detectors, non-working TV remotes, doors that don’t close, blinds that won’t stay down, leaky sliders, soft floors, and A/C that quits when it feels like it.If you want a relaxing getaway, look elsewhere. If you’re after a masterclass in unmet expectations—this place delivers."

"House was lovely, Weather didn't cooperate. Rain and gale force winds- but we still enjoyed staying there only negative for 6 people kitchen table not big enough to sit 6 Also getting out of driveway hard at night. especially with planting at end of ther driveway."
