We had a really wonderful stay at the Maison Gorey hotel in Jersey. We loved that it was in a quiet area yet with still plenty to do and see and several buses running regularly to and from St Helier. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and efficient. Our room was beautiful and spotless with a modern TV (we brought a HDMI cable to plug in our laptop to watch our own Prime or Netflix films at night). There is free WiFi in the hotel. Breakfast was a feast of full cooked breakfast and also a continental choice every day. One of the things we thought was an extra special touch was the use of the dining room in the evening; guests can bring in their own food (fab Chinese takeaway minutes walk away opens till 10.30pm - handy after a long day walking and a few drinks in one of the local bars) and use the microwave and cutlery, plates etc provided and sit at a table to eat. There are a good few lovely places to eat in Gorey Village itself or a short walk up to Gorey Pier. Over all, we had a fabulous time and we will be back again and look forward to staying in Maison Gorey again.

I really enjoyed my stay with the Maison Gorey. When looking into my stay I wanted to see what the breakfast included and only saw that there were cereals and croissants. To my suprise there was a beautifully cooked breakfast available with plenty of toast and a hot drink. The staff were attentive and friendly which added to the stay greatly. The room I expected in the package was a single and again I was pleasantly surprised to find a twin room and the beds placed together to create a larger bed. The facilities in the room were clean. Well looked after and the fridge stocked well. The shower area was a good size and the shower itself was very good. The hotel is positioned only a short walk away from the centre of Gorey itself. But if you ever needed anything there is a Morrisons just down the road. There are a couple of eateries aswell, a pharmacy and other convenient local stores. All well within reach. The liberty bus company do an amazing job servicing Gorey and the surrounding hamlets and there are bus stops a short walk away from the Maison Gorey which made getting around very easy. The beach is only a short walk away with a cafe hut a short walk from the pathway. Overall I had a great trip and this was made very comfortable with my stay at the Maison Gorey.

Very nicely located hotel on the old main street through Gorey, now bypassed, so little traffic passing the hotel. Less than 5 mins walk from the bus stops for the service to/from St Helier. Clean and comfortable rooms and a good choice of food available at breakfast time.

Very friendly and well run hotel in Gorey village, 10 minutes walk to Gorey Pier along beautiful beach. Good breakfasts, fabulous bathroom and all very clean. Easy to get around using excellent buses and on foot.

A characterful hotel if a little tired looking in places - the carpets in particular! In contrast our bathroom with walk-in shower was obviously a recent arrival and in very good shape. Gorey itself is a one horse town compared to St Helier so if you want the quiet life it’s a good option, and if you hire a car the ever popular north coast villages are within easy reach.

Ideally situated only a short walking distance to a lovely beach and Gorey Port. Best if you hire a car for this hotel as there’s beautiful coves within 10-15 minutes Nice terrace on the roof which gets the sun in the afternoon- very relaxing

The room was newly decorated with new furniture. Very clean. Everything working as it should. Bathroom lovely with a great walk in shower and fluffy towels. Our room was over the front of the hotel and a bit noisy but we were ok with that because the room was so nice. Good choice at breakfast and great staff.

It was a very clean and quiet hotel, near to the bus stop so easy to get around from this hotel. It is a bed & breakfast hotel, the breakfast is good, plenty of choice. No bar. You have to find somewhere to eat in the evening.

Carpets need replacing,it also says it has a mini bar but it does not and the lounge could do with a revamp ( thats the negatives).The positives are the room was lovely breakfast was good and the location is great and jason on the desk was more than helpful,would definitely stay again .This was my second stay at this hotel.

Lovely setting in quiet village like area beautiful houses close to small stores chemist coffee shop general stores and a few minutes walk to the beach past gardens and sheltered by trees . Lovely hotel in great location
Lovely clean rooms, excellent staff and breakfast was wonderful. James on Reception was very helpful and we had a lovely stay. Beach, Restaurants and Golf course. Only one downside and that was the parking as very few spaces.

Our choice to stay in Jersey
This was our second stay at the hotel as we were there a year ago. The staff is friendly. Rooms are older but charming and clean. The location is quiet and out of the city which is a short 15 minute drive. Breakfast is well catered by the help and is a full british hot meal with several choices. Two neighborhood grocery stores and a pub just 2 minutes walk. We will stay again.

There is no lift for anyone who struggles with stairs. For the ladies no way of disposing of sanitary towels. We reported a loose tap which moved when turning it on and off but this was not fixed during the week we were there. Heating was not working in the room which we were staying at the back of the hotel although it was working at the front.

Good quality hotel walking distance into Gorey
Very pleasant twin room with view of the surrounding hills at the back. The facilities were all good and the breakfast was very good and served by very attentive ladies and nothing was too much trouble.

Absolutely delighted to have found this excellent most comfortable hotel. It is so good at the end of each day to look forward to returning to your hotel and the rooms and bathrooms are well equipped. There was a warm reception on arrival and every member of staff was exceptional.

Had a great few days in Jersey The Maison Gorey Hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable. My only criticism is that the breakfast service was a little bit unorganised. But having said that the food was lovely. Would definetly stay again!

A Real Gorey Gem!
Maison Gorey was a real gem of a find - thanks to Expedia! The location was 10 mins stroll along the beach or beachfront from the main Gorey Harbour, Castle and restaurants. Set in a quiet side-street parallel to the main road (which was quiet anyway!) and regular buses to St Helier run along here & from Gorey Pier to the Zoo and north of the island. There is also two little mini-mart shops, a coffee shop, fish & chip shop & Chinese nearby. The staff were extremely accommodating, even though we had been delayed nearly 11 hours at Gatwick due to Jersey Fog and didn't arrive till 10pm, someone was still up to meet and greet us! Breakfast was delicious - so much choice and staff couldn't do enough to help. All in all, such a find! .. and for the overall extremely good value price of hotel and flights thanks to Expedia, we will definitely be back!

Nice hotel in centre of small village
Everything during our 2 week stay lived up to our expectations. The hotel was clean and comfortable with very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The dining room was light and airy and the breakfast choice was more than adequate, with freshly cooked food. If ever in this district again would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel is clean and tidy, rooms are nice with lovely bathroom. Floorboards are very creeky so there's noise from above as people move about. Breakfast was excellent, everything you could want. The ladies serving were very kind and helpful and the reception man also very pleasant. This is a good hotel and great value for money.

Celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary.
We also stayed at Maison Gorey Hotel on our honeymoon 50 years ago. We had lovely memories of our stay and of course beautiful Jersey Island.

Beautiful location on the island
Lovely Hotel in a beautiful location for the type of holiday we enjoy, Well served by a reliable bus service that runs well into the evening. We did consider a hire car on arrival but the bus service was more than adequate for our requirements. At £7.50 for a whole day pass we were able to hop on and hop off at the places we wanted, the bus driver's and the information desk at the Liberation station were very helpful and knowledgeable.
