"Breakfast includes a wide variety of choices to satisfy everyone’s appetite. Our room was spacious,very clean and bed was comfortable! Super friendly staff from front desk to valet. The pool was very clean and nice soft music is provided. Located within a short walking distance to beach. "

"This seemed like it may be a classic hotel in St Augustine, so we reserved for our trip. Unfortunately, we realized immediately when we arrived that it was very different than both the photos and Expedia rating portrayed it to be. The odor of fish from the restaurant (not good fish) was extremely overpowering and the surroundings and room were not as they appeared in the photos. Maybe we expected too much, but it wasn't the facilities or atmosphere we expected. We left immediately after check-in. I'm sure it's a great place for some to enjoy, but we were uncomfortable and could not stay here."

"The property is pet friendly and has plenty of grassy areas. However, the grass needed cutting especially in the dog park area. We have stayed at this property in the past before it changed ownership and it met our expectations. This time it did not. Needs updates everywhere, none of the vending machines were working, you could see the outside through a sizable crack in the door, furniture in the rooms need to be updated (old and stained), toilets are very low and the seat was coming off. Last but not least watch out for the new additional fees. Disappointing"

"The history, decor and art"

"We usually love staying at Embassy suites however this location significantly let us down. Staff were not very helpful and check in process/reception took a very long time. Atmosphere was much more chaotic than we are used to with non-stop noise coming in through the walls into the room. "

"The privacy deadbolt didn’t work. The toilet never stopped running and had a rust stain down the back. A $25 fee is charged for a pet. I’m not sure what that goes toward. There is no refrigerator. Ice machine is not on the main floor."

"Our room was clean but the shower was in poor condition and not clean. The water at the bathroom sink did not drain. The air condition was wonderful and the mattress were extremely comfortable. There are chairs outside the room with a table and ashtray, we did not use them but there were too many people sitting outside our room smoking which freaked me out. "

"Really nice place to stay. Quick walk to history museum, etc and a short ride into the historical center. Beautifully kept property with spacious bedroom. Breakfast the usual mediocre fare but one could find healthy items such as hard boiled egg, apples and oranges. Plain Cheerios would be nicer than tasteless sugary cereals."
