"Booked 3 nights, first night found 1 roach in the room. Ok no big deal it happens. 2nd night we saw 4 roaches in the room, complained to front desk, left the hotel, was not able to get 2nd night refunded due to it was 8pm and too late to refund the day, property doesn’t care we had just gotten back in and haven’t been in the property all day. did get the 3rd day refunded. Do better, fumigate the place"

"They didn't have any soap in bathroom. Toilet wasn't clean floor in bathroom slippery. Rug didn't looked vacuumed."

"What a beautiful place! It was like staying on a large houseboat except we didn’t go anywhere and the fish came to us. It was very clean and very comfortable for four of us. We loved all the decor in the house and the family history displayed. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need or want. Dean was very responsive when I sent a couple questions and when the power went out (it was VERY windy the first two days) he texted updates (it was only out about an hour and a half). The area was safe, the neighbors were friendly and the bait store was very close by and Todd was very informative. We caught a lot of fish (fishing on the side of the house that wasn’t windy the first two days) and also blue crab! We catch and release so it’s all still there for next time. There was also lots of space for quiet time and relaxation. We truly enjoyed our time together and made lots of fun memories!"

"Our host was wonderful, very helpful and accommodating. We love the property, the lot was beautiful, spacious, just incredibly relaxing. We used the fire pit to cook hot dogs and marshmallows, the parking was perfect for our boat and truck. The Welaka public boat ramp is 5 minutes away, and a fantastic little restaurant/bar called Shrimps-R-Us is just minutes away. Comfortable beds, the screened in back porch is heavenly!! This is what old Florida was like before developers covered everything in concrete, and ruined a true gem. We will definitely come back here if it is available!!!!!"

"The staff were very nice. There was no restaurant although they did advertise one. The toilet was very wobbly. We reported it and were told they would put it on the list but they couldn't fix it now because the room would have to be closed for 5 days. The shower was VERY hard to turn on. My wife couldn't turn it on and I thought I was going to end up ripping it out of the wall. The tub stopper would not work. It stayed closed when the shower was running so the tub was filling with water when we didn't want it to. Very disappointed."
