What a great place to stay if you are in Grand Junction! 1/4 mile to the grocery store, safe and quiet neighborhood. Only minutes from downtown GJ along with excellent bike riding. If back in GJ, I will be staying here again.
The property was wonderful. The gated yard was great, as I was travelling with my dogs. Communication with the host was very good. She was quick to respond and helpful. There was a bit of confusion over the pet fee, but we got it worked out. I would certainly stay there again.
It was great staying here. Nice and easy communication with owner, easy to get into home. House was clean, cozy, good amenities. Loved the fireplace. Beds were comfy. Would stay here again!!
Such a great property. Would definitely book again. Seamless check in/out process! Our trip focused on biking in the area and the spacious yard and secure bike storage was perfect for that.
Nice little house, very clean, and the huge fenced yard was great for our dogs! The bike shed was a nice addition for storage. Great location, close to town as well as walking/biking/hiking trails.
So beautiful, clean and very comfortable!! The owner is so nice and always responded right away with any questions. I will look forward to returning. I do wish that there was a hot tub. We really enjoyed our stay!! Thank you!
Very nicely remodeled and comfortable. Fenced in yard was nice for our small dog. Very convenient to downtown, the Monument, and Redlands Mesa golf course. The neighborhood is not exactly what we expected but it is quiet and felt safe.
The house was very well designed and decorated. Having the privacy fence made it feel like you were in your own little world. The grocery store was just minutes away. The host communication was great!
Just completed my second year in a row stay at Lake Road Cabin and thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Leah and her husband provide a great home and amenities in helping you enjoy your stay. Worked remotely once again and visited with family in the area. This location is ideal for shopping, downtown area and Colorado National Monument. Highly recommend!
Without knowing the area my first impression as we drove through the neighborhood was that it was a little shady. This feeling however quickly disappeared as we opened the gates to the property and drove in. It was even better when we went inside, extremely clean, great smelling, everything seemed brand new. All of the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. Everything worked great and was extremely cozy. The hot tub was fresh and the yard inviting. Very peaceful and private with the fully fenced, high walled yard. It was very close to great hiking, shopping and restaurants. We will definitely stay again if we are back in the area.
The cabin is decorated so nicely! The gas fire table was great in the evening. The gas fireplace is very large and puts out good heat. There were lots of towel, TP etc. the fence gave some privacy. Only about 5 minutes from Colorado National Monument (if you go to GJ you must go there!)
There was apparently someone staying in a trailer in next lot and very close to the fence. They were very quiet but it reduced the feeling of privacy.
It would be nice if there was some sort of lock on the gate for security..(we were three women). Quiet area with very little local traffic and wild life are just up the road! Ample parking inside fence.
Leah was very responsive when i couldn’t figure out how to lock the doors!
Three of us very comfortable and really loved the place. Well laid out and beautiful!
Thank you Leah and David!
Leah is a super hostess, and her place has everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Very kid friendly also, which came in handy as we forgot toys and books for our 3 year-old granddaughter. Turns out we didn’t need them anyway. Leah has kid books stocked at the rental. Thank you, Leah!
Me and my partner booked this property last minute and it was the best thing ever for us! Gave us a chance to explore Colorado and Utah for 4 days. The property is much better in person! I highly recommend. The hot tub was nothing but love with the fire going for vibes! We would’ve definitely stayed more days if our jobs allowed it.
My college son wanted to see his dogs this week and the Lake Cabin provided a very welcoming and safe environment for the canines. The hot tub was perfect and clean for the adults
House was cozy, cute and clean. The updates really made this place look and feel new. The outside area for parking was huge, as well as the outdoor space to hang. We saw several deer in the woods right across the street so you felt secluded. But located near a tap house (within walking distance), grocery store, liquor store, so we felt connected at the same time. Leah was responsive and very helpful. We had such a great time that we hope to come back in the spring when it’s a bit warmer to enjoy the outdoors. Definitely recommend staying at this place!
The cabin was clean and fresh, and felt more like coming home then just staying in a strange place. The hot tub was a nice feature after mountain biking all day. The owners were very helpful and easy to get a hold of. Will stay there again!!
