Accommodating up to 15 persons, it features a master bedroom with a king bed and multiple sleeper sofas. Enjoy kayaking on site or explore nearby attractions like Grand Mesa National Forest.

You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Vega lake Retreat - a unique mountain escape with all four seasons!

Home is nestled on the east end of Vega Lake State park. We will easily accommodate 15 persons in the house. If you have a larger group, please message me, we also have a cabin , RV spots available and an historic sheep camp available for use

Home has a Master bedroom with a King bed, Loft area with 2 twin beds and a full size bed, upstairs bedroom has two queen beds, living room has two (queen size) sleeper sofas, a newly renovated game room with a queen size sleeper sofa and cabin has a queen size bed. 2 full bathrooms, full kitchen, hot tub over looking the lake and views to die for.



We have satellite based internet- it will stream one devise.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS:

(2) RV hook up’s with water and 20 amp service. $25 per night charge

1 Cabin with a full size bed - $75 per night charge

1 Sheep Camp with cook stove and full size bed - $75 per night (this is an actual 120 year old early settlers camp wagon, fully restored and ready for your stay.
Studio apartment recently renovated. Upstairs (above the garage) full size bed, twin bed, full kitchen and full bathroom- $150.00 per night

Such a beautiful place to stay

Beautiful house on a hill, lovely fall colors, incredible views and access to the lake. House had plenty of space, kitchen was well stocked. Everything was awesome!

Amazing Stay!

My friends and i rented this place for their wedding, and we had a blast. Property was absolutely beautiful, clean, and cozy. Views from the jacuzzi were breathtaking. Spacious rooms, game room, and host was quickly responsive. Would highly recommend!!

Absolutely blissful

This place felt so private. We were so comfortable in a well maintained home, while also feeling like we were camping in the middle of nowhere. Hosts were responsive and friendly. Also there were more beds than we expected with the pull out couches! So happy with our experience and would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful cabin not to far from home but in the mountains with great views. Enjoyed our family holiday hanging out on the deck and building a campfire to ring in the New Year with local firework show. Hope to revisit in future.

This was a very accommodating home! Has everything you can imagine! Plenty of bedding for all our guests! Beautiful deck to enjoy your morning coffee or evening sunset with a glass of wine! A Remote White Christmas

The property is just like the pictures. Most of our group was from Oklahoma City (we drove up) but some were visiting from Mexico and we all wanted to play with the snow. Great getaway spot

Be warned, while Colbran is only 20 or so miles away it is a lot of roads with slow speed limits, so it does take a while to drive to town. That said, this is a gorgeous location! The house is nice and had plenty of towels and blankets for everyone. Lots of cows nearby, and this trip had the most wildlife I'd ever seen. Deer, mountain goats, rabbits, and foxes! With the wildflower fields nearby, I could not have imagined a better place to elope.

There were Fabulous views from porch, great time viewing night sky and seeing an awesome shooting star! Sadly, while we were there, the hot tub was unusable because of algae and unclean. We tried contacting property owner, but we were unable to get it rectified during visit. Spacious accommodation, but kitchen could be better accessorized. Thank you for letting us stay.

It was the perfect location for a family reunion. The only disappointment was that the promised included kayaks and inner tubes appeared to have departed with previous guests. The extra table leaf allowed us all to eat together and the outdoor fire pit greatly contributed to our ability to watch the July/August meteor showers.

Amazing views

We had a really wonderful time at Vega Lake Retreat! The views of the lake, mountainside, and pasture lands were incredible. The walking trails on the property were lovely, the fishing in the lake was pretty good. The owner communicated quickly and effectively. Our only reccomendation would be to add some window coverings on the east and west of the property, the evening and morning sun were really too much.
