As there are no natural predators in the grounds guests are free to walk and get really close to the giraffes, zebras and various types of boek that roam around the beautiful setting. "If you want to be in the middle of nowhere in your almost private African safari with giraffes on site then you should consider staying here. Is it luxury? No, but do you get great space, views, comfortable lodge and great service? Yes. More 3 than a 4 star and it does need a little love. "Staff were extremely friendly. Excellent location. Views are lovely. Drain in the shower was extremely smelly and most unpleasant. Found cockroaches in two of the rooms, floors were not cleaned, there were bits of chips next to the couch and even after cleaning the room the next day the chips were still on the floor, floors were dirty as though it was not swept or cleaned.
