We had a lovely stay at Rosedale, which is a running citrus farm.
Keith was very welcoming and gave us lots of suggestions on what to do around.
Delicious breakfast with eggs from the farm, fresh juice and homemade bread.
Very close to Addo Elephant National Park

It was like coming home. Keith and his Boss handled you like a part of their family. Very friendly and welcoming… we felt always safe and in good hands. Highly recommended and we would stay again in Rosedale.
Keith nice guy.
What a lovely place! Comfortable room and traditional high thatch roof meant it stayed cool. Lovely garden to relax in. Didn’t try pool but looks lovely.
Most importantly, lots of help with various problems we had when we stayed there: from arranging early breakfast on the day of our game drive and drawing a map to get to the right gate (the company we went with doesn’t pick up from Addo) to providing some medication for a stomach bug one of our group had picked up elsewhere.
Accommodation is comfortable rather than luxurious but amazing value
Lovely little B&B with a tasty breakfast and nice staff. Close to Addo National Park for seeing the animals. I enjoyed the farm tour.

Schlecht
Owners are doing a great job at this nice little guesthouse. Friendly, courteous and helpful, it is great for visits to Addo. We stayed at peak time for blossoming citrus trees and the lovely aromas filled the air. Interesting weaver birds to see and a communal kitchen area for guests to use. Water is not potable but drinking water is supplied. If I'm ever back in the area will stay there again.
Lovely, quaint hotel with wonderful breakfast and a great fire to relax by at the end of the day. The staff was exceptional and the farm tour was a great addition to our experience. We loved it here.
Aussenanlagen sehr ansprechend.
Insgesamt sehr gut und empfehlenswert.

Good location for Addo visit
Stayed here over a Christmas Addo visit with my mother. The location is ideal for visiting Addo - you're about a 15 minute drive from the entrance to the park.
Small, family run operation. Friendly enough staff. Rooms well appointed, very spacious, toiletries were lovely too. Wifi slow but good if you go near the breakfast area.
Biggest complaint is over breakfast and kitchen facilities - breakfast is ONLY served from 7:30am to 8:30am so if you're on vacation and want to sleep in a little like my mother, or if you're an early bird like me, tough luck.
The coffee served at breakfast was terrible, and if you want to brew your own in the kitchen (instant coffee is provided in the room but I'd rather drink actual dirt) well, you're out of luck because they lock the kitchen. When I ask the owner about this later in the day he says "You should have come and told us, we would have unlocked!" Sure, let me just go wake up strangers at 6 am.
And when they say 7:30 to 8:30, they will actually take your plate away from you at 8:30. So EAT FAST.
Tried to make us dinner at night. Well, there are no knives, not a pot to cook in, and a lot of buckets but no trash can. On morning #2 I got the kitchen unlocked for proper coffee, found one broken french press.
They mean well (I think... they talked to me like I'm a teenager even though I'm in my mid-30s and was the one paying for the room) and run a sweet little operation, but in my opinion it's overpriced for what it is.

Liebevoll geführte Unterkunft mit sehr herzlichen Gastgebern. Sehr gute Nähe zum Addo Nationalpark.
Pleasant greeting from reception staff and extremely helpful.
Owners were lovely people and the accomodation was very comfortable.
Ideally situated for nearby good restaurants and Addo entrance.
Highly recommended.
