"Excellent short stay. Beautiful building and grounds, our room was great (not always the case when booking via Expedia/Hotels.com) with a balcony overlooking the gardens. Bed v comfortable, bathroom fine, floorboards quiet (considering age of property)! Did not eat as a short overnighter, but will return and experience a lovely-looking restaurant."
