The best area to stay in Gorgullos is the town centre, particularly around the Praza do Concello.

This central area is the heart of Gorgullos, offering pedestrian-friendly streets lined with traditional Galician stone buildings. You'll find many local shops, bakeries, and restaurants here, all within easy walking distance. The Praza do Concello is a lovely square, often hosting local markets and events, and it's surrounded by historic architecture.

Couples looking for a relaxing and authentic experience will find the town centre ideal. It provides easy access to the local eateries for evening meals and is a good starting point for strolls through the historic lanes. The nearby Church of San Salvador is also a significant landmark worth visiting.

For those seeking a quieter stay with beautiful views, the areas just outside the immediate town centre, particularly towards the coast, offer excellent options. These often include properties with more space and gardens, providing a peaceful retreat while still being a short drive or pleasant walk from the town's amenities.

The best time to visit Gorgullos is during the summer months, from June to September, when the weather is warm and sunny, great for enjoying the beautiful Galician coast.

This period offers consistent sunshine and pleasant temperatures, making it ideal for beach activities, coastal walks, and exploring the natural beauty of the region. The sea is also at its warmest, inviting for a swim. It's a great time for families looking for a relaxing break by the sea.

For those who prefer a quieter experience with fewer crowds but still good weather, late spring (May) and early autumn (October) are excellent alternatives. The temperatures are still mild, and you can enjoy the walking trails and local cuisine without the peak season hustle.
