"Perfect hotel, excellent location in the middle of Stia, a small and cute town in the middle of Casentino valley in Toscany with many places to visit nearby. The room was extremely clean, nicely decorated, spacious bathroom. Service from Patrizia and the team was excellent. "Very modern hotel with rooms that are more apartments than just hotel rooms. The food is great! There is a small spa, too. 50 Euros for two persons/three hours was a bargain. Staff was very helpful, but only one member spoke English. The charming lady who welcomed us made good use of Google Translate. Perhaps even better than the hotel is the nature reserve in which it's located. The drive up the mountain is long and somewhat difficult, but well worth it."

"Our stay was aboslutely wonderful! The house and farm lies high up in the Tuscan hills and we were immersed in lush greenery with a river flowing nearby. Lorenzo was very welcoming and cooked us a delicious Tuscan dinner every night. We also loved his beautiful dog and two cats who made our stay extra nice! The room was sprakling clean and very cozy. "The house is lovely and the grounds are superb. We enjoyed the fire pit, the patio area down by the pool, and the welcoming feel of the whole place. We did most of our cooking in the downstairs kitchen, which could use a few more well-placed electrical outlets. The bathrooms are spacious and towels are provided. Ivo and Novella (siblings) are lovely people and super friendly and helpful. The pool was well kept and swimming was lovely. Be aware of the occasional scorpion! They're small enough not to hurt you, but don't be shocked when you see one! We escorted three outside, but they didn't seem to mind.The nights are peaceful and you can hear the owls and the crickets. There's no AC, and we slept with the windows closed because of mosquitos, but it was fine.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay -- we were a party of nine and the house suited us perfectly. Highly recommended for a group of friends or for a family (or two). Such a treat. Grazie mille Ivo and Novella! Ciao!"
