Lovely resort. Very close to public transport and a short walk to the beach. Comfy bed. Lovely host. We lost our room key and she was so accommodating, even though it was late.

Great spot, clean and easy.

Good location. Clean. Easy to deal with property managers. Excellent value. Would definitely stay there again. Only small gripes were slow wifi and ridiculously small ironing board and iron.

Great room at a top resort!

We really enjoyed our stay at this resort where rooms are usually far more than we paid to the owner through VRBO. We got to enjoy most of the amenities at the resort without paying the usual daily rate. Our room was very clean and nicely appointed.

Lovely stay

May was wonderful, very lovely informative and wonderful communication. The resort was lovely, pool was great and many things to do. The only thing was I felt the room was quite a bit smaller than I anticipated from looking at the photos and looking out from the balcony was not great although as it’s a concrete roof. know these things are not the fault of the host or where the room is situated but I guess as we were near the beach I was hoping of at least a little bit of seeing the beach or ocean. But overall lovely

We liked the resort facilities . Did not like the bed, it smelt of urine and did not like not being able to utilise the facilities after check out as the person managing the room wanted the key back at 10am

Gold Coast stay

Hi, I booked this property thinking it was an actual hotel you'd listed, but instead it was a privately managed apartment. The building is terribly dated, the entrance dated, the unit dated and the gardens tired. No issue with hosts, just not what I expected at all. Sorry.

I don’t like this hotel because what ever show in photos online not exactly the same I book online but doesn’t tell me what level they give level 2 and plus I don’t see any beach in front my window all buildings was in front of me and very warm inside of room I came to enjoy holiday but not happy

The sun city resort is a great property with many pools, slides and facilities and right on the tram line and walkable to surfers! Beware however that the property being booked is a private sublet rental NOT the hotel themselves despite being on Expedia which means no housekeeping, reception support, different check in times etc. owner didn’t want to meet to give key as it was late (8pm) despite mentioning checkin was until 9. Owner makes you meet him outside in park and whisks you past reception which was a little suspect. Recommend if arriving late book direct (official reception is until 11pm) room offered was in okay condition but a little run down, dirty socks underbed, no milk in fridge, dust in places but an okay place to stay, again for same price suggest booking direct with hotel vs a sublet.

Great location

Host May very obliging and efficient in communications with us. Unfortunately we were very near maintenance work being carried out which was disruptive for a whole day; safe in room not working. We did overall enjoy Mantra Sun City ! Thanks

If you are looking for a nice little room to stay in while visiting the Gold Coast. This is it!

Overall it was a great experience. From start to finish it was an easy process to check in and check out. The host was there to greet me in the lobby and was very welcoming. The room was very well kept and very well maintained. The location is perfect if you want to go for a walk down the beach. Tram station is juet outside the building. Only a few minutes drive to Pacific Fair. Overall it was a great experience from start to finish and i would happily stay here again.

Easy convenient, no fuss

The Hotel has a lovely sandstone entrance. Trams are very easy to access from the hotel (station is right out the side gate) The room is neat and tidy with a balcony. The shower and bed are very good. The only idea I had, which would make the room even better for me would be to have cold, filtered water in the room. Also the paintings in the corridor/ hallway of the hotel on the level the room is on are rather spooky. I would stay again without hesitation. Thank you.
