"The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. The availability of a small kitchen facility in the room was not advertised but very welcome. The TV channel 'list' in the room gave the impression that only 'local' channels were available when in fact (by luck) I found there were many more international news channels, etc. Which was a bonus. The location was very quiet (end of September) but well situated. Overall I had great visit and would not consider anywhere else should I return to the area in the future. Thanks "

"Booked the house through VRBO, all went well. We got the conformation of the booking. Sitting in the hotel the night before arriving in France and thinking, I haven't seen anything about the entry to the house. Sent a message which was finally answered after an hour saying it was in the welcome email and she supplied the link for the check in. Checked right back through all emails and there was nothing from her. Went on to the link and filled in the info it requested which was a lot. Clicked the validate button and it stayed at waiting on validation for well over an hour. Messaged her again and got told she had validated it, she had. Still had no idea on the entry details which you are supposed to re-click the link again after messaging her again. Turned up at the house and had to fight fast an out of control apple tree to get the key safe. Entered the house and had a look around, the link had a section to upload any pictures of anything wrong, there were a lot. Dining room table gouged, coffee tables scratched, bits of kitchen hang off, damp smell which got worse over the next day which turned out to be a mop which obviously wasn't cleaned properly and that had to be put outside, there is small leak under the kitchen sink which is contributing to the smell, there is a heater in the dining room which has a damaged cable exposed, bathroom sink not very clean and taps rotting away at the base, upstairs in the main room, there was a wall socket hanging out the wall on the cables"

"A cozy, unpretentious B&B, with a pleasant, helpful innkeeper. The environment is very peaceful, with the sound of the waves in the background. A short walk to the beach was very pleasant. "

"Located mid way between Arromanches and Asnelles over looking Gold beach. A short walk to either. Good routes for cycling, as we did, but there are a couple of decent hills either direction. Plenty if beach activities to keep all entertained. Now home and missing waking up to the sound of the sea and overlooking the beach. "
