We had a great stay from start to finish, enjoyed the beautiful garden surroundings, had a great pub lunch & enjoyed breakfast after checking out at the local bakery. "A lovely stay on the farm overlooking the fields. It's set aside from the rest of the farm and has everything you need for a quiet & cosy weekend getaway.The hot tub was the perfect temperature and the garden furniture, and BBQ meant we could relax late into the evening outside and cook outside. "The location of these Lodges is excellent. Very tranquil and peaceful, the lake is lovely with swans and cygnets floating about. There were a great number of Canada geese and their goslings wandering about, but they don't interfere with the guests. The Lodge itself, Number 12, could do with a bit of an update, especially the appliances, fridge in particular which was leaky and old. The outside of the Lodge could do with a coat of varnish and really could do with a path in front of the porch...
