"Overall, we were very pleased with the Castle Manor Inn. We stayed in the main house on the second floor and had a lovely view. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a little dated but spacious, comfortable, and well-furnished. The bathroom was small, but everything worked well and it was clean. In general, the room seemed quite clean, although we found some trash under the bed from a previous guest. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but we appreciated the complimentary coffee. Loved sitting on the wraparound porch in the morning. We were very happy with our choice. For guests planning to spend time at Gloucester Harbor, it is worth mentioning that the direct route from the hotel to the harbor passes over a canal with a bridge that opens for passing boats. Three out of the four times we tried to cross the bridge, we got stuck for 10-20 minutes waiting for the boats to pass. Not a big deal, but it's not quite as convenient to get to the harbor as you might expect. Overall, though, we would be happy to stay at the Castle Manor Inn again and would recommend it to anyone. "

"The front desk was quick to replace the lightbulb, fix the shower handle, and fix the stopper in the sink that were not working properly or broken. The only complaint I have was the water pressure, but I don’t know that they are able to fix this problem. Everything else was wonderful!"

"Just did an overnight after a long international flight. Room was comfy and clean, had dinner at the Mexican restaurant attached to the property and it was great not having to go find food after a long travel day. I did call from the airport and ask if we could get into our room early from our long flight if it was ready, but they told me it would be an extra charge, so we sat in the lobby for two hours and waited until official check-in. That would have been a nice accommodation, but otherwise it has been a good resting place."
