"Staff great - room cleans and comfy could use some updates but great to stay at especially if flying in are out of Boston "

"Room 331 has unfinished areas multiple spots on the walls . Cobb webs on the lamp shades so I can only assume house keeping doesn’t clean properly. The bath drain would not stay in the up position over filling during shower . Manager was notified . But strongly doubt she will follow through on complaint. "

"The Hawthorne Hotel is a beautiful historic hotel. The room we had was spacious, clean, and had an awesome view. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was not large but a reasonable size. We had a king room with corner views. Very centrally located, can easily walk everywhere. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the restaurants had great food and service. We would absolutely recommend this hotel 10/10."

"There was a lot to like at the hotel Salem. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Our only criticism was the room was drafty and very noisy. We were kept up by loud conversations in the hallway and from other rooms. Better sound insulation would be nice"

"Extremely disappointing experience at SpringHill Suites Boston Logan Airport Revere Beach. We had a confirmed reservation for March 14–15. When we arrived after traveling, the hotel told us they had overbooked and that our room was no longer available. They then sent us to another hotel. When we arrived there, we were told that hotel could not accommodate us either, so we were forced to return to the original SpringHill Suites. My mother had recently undergone surgery and is currently disabled, so being transported back and forth between hotels late in the evening was extremely stressful and physically difficult for her. By the time we returned it was already close to 8 PM and the entire day had been lost due to the hotel’s error. The situation became even more frustrating due to the attitude of the staff. The General Manager, Gabriel Morales, was extremely dismissive and unhelpful when we tried to resolve the issue. The front desk staff member, Valet, was also rude and did not provide any real assistance. A confirmed reservation should never result in guests being displaced like this, especially when a disabled guest is involved. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had, and we hope Marriott corporate addresses this situation properly."
