"Despite the rainclouds hovering during our visit, our stay at the Holly Tree Hotel was a peaceful retreat. Nestled between dramatic mountains and the calming waters of Loch Linnhe, the location offers a sense of quiet seclusion that’s hard to come by.
The inclement weather kept us indoors more than planned, but somehow that only deepened the stillness and made the setting feel more intimate. The hotel itself maintains a gentle charm—warm, inviting, and perfectly suited for recharging away from the bustle.
A special mention goes to the incredible staff who made our stay feel effortlessly relaxed—always attentive yet never intrusive. Breakfasts were wholesome and comforting, and the vegetarian dinner was a pleasant surprise, offering a thoughtfully prepared meal that didn’t feel like an afterthought.

"It was lovely close to a beautiful stretch of water that we could walk to. Lovely apartment with washing machine cooker etc… spacious double bedroom and cute bed alcove with sofa bed too. Really was a great place to stay. We ate at the pub one night and it was very tasty. I recommend it as a great position to explore Scotland and so comfortable too. "

Its an old Victorian Type Hotel but you get what you pay for,Yes there could be a few improvements here and there with the Structure but what suits some dosen't suit others. The price was right so there you go. Would we go again yes. "
"We loved the little cabins we stayed in. We even jumped into the water for a wee swim and then would run back into the cabin for a hot shower. Staff was very friendly. The cabins come with little kitchens so we enjoyed breakfast while looking at the beautiful view. Reccomended!!!"
