"Staff are wonderful. The hotel is 5 minutes walk into town. The room was extremely hot, window only opened slightly, no A/C The bar could do with more ambience, felt a bit like an airport lounge. Maybe dim the lights, a few plants and put candles on tables. Really annoying having to pay for parking £28 for two nights, however that seems to be most English hotels in towns. Overall I would go back."
"Our favourite hotel when staying in Chester for all the reasons we’ve highlighted.
Lovely staff, very welcoming, friendly, professional and helpful - nothing is too much trouble!
We will see you again soon - thank you all!"
"I had a lovely experience here.
Starting from reception I was welcomed by Veronika a professional friendly receptionist oriented to the customer needs.
The entire staff which I meted here was lovely, helpful and nice with everyone.
The rooms was clean, free from odor or anything bad. The accommodation was fantastic, loads of parking spaces, restaurants close and in the hotel with very delicious meals. At restaurant I was greeted by Mrs Maria, a multi language speaker lady who was carefully helping everyone in the restaurant to have a wonderful experience. Thank you everyone. I definitely look to come back. Cheers, Flo."
"The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available."
