"I loved staying here! The villa is stunning and the pool was amazing. The staff were wonderful and super helpful and were always there when I needed something. They had rental bikes which made it easy to get around the island. Gili air is such a beautiful and unique place to stay. The only thing is the music from the mosque is pretty loud at 5am and would wake me up every morning. However it just made it easier to get up early and go watch the sunrise. "A very nice stay at Gilizen. My partner and I have been travelling for 2.5 months and this was our “luxury” stop to celebrate our engagement. The villas are well equipped with plenty of space. The pool area was also ideal for us as it got the sun for the majority of the day. Staff were very friendly, polite and attentive. The only reasons for not giving the full 5 stars are: - the pool wasn’t the cleanest. - the hotel policy when you arrive is “we clean the rooms every 3 days” but we were then asked everyday if we wanted the rooms cleaned…when we said yes I’m not sure how much cleaning they actually did. I think it was more making the bed, picking up some clothes and emptying the bins. - the breakfast was very average, whilst “free” it wasn’t luxury or 5 stars standard. They also give you a choice of coffee but regardless of what you choose, it’s the same and it’s just instant coffee with milk. I’d come back if I return to GA."

"We stayed here for a week. An excellent hotel with fantastic, helpful staff. A big thanks to Noval and his team. Room was clean and peaceful and provided everything that we required (but could do with somewhere better to dry swimming gear/towels etc) Breakfast was good and we loved the little surprise treats around the pool in the afternoon and in our room at bedtime. We ate dinner at the hotel on 3 occassions- it was good as was the entertainment. There are also other good dining options very close by. Overall we found this hotel provided an exceptional, fun experience and would recommend it to anyone travelling to Gili Air"

"This is a really good spot to stay in Gili Air. With a private beach to use, which is perfect for watching the sunset, makes it a beautiful spot. The staff is super helpful and ready to assist in any way, they even arranged a horse drawn taxi for us. Breakfast is excellent! Also, we made good use of the pool while we stayed here. The AC in our room was okay, we were thankful they had it. If they could drape the mosquito net better around the bed, it would be a big help. As there are a good number of mosquitoes around in the early mornings and evenings. Overall this hotel is a pretty good deal."
