The bathroom had an awful smell from the drains and the fridge had mold which spread to anything you put in there. The room needed updates and a thorough cleaning. Dirty walls and okd dusty spiderwebs. The staff are wonderful though and the location is great, within just a short walk from the harbour. But the room was below expectations unfortunately. If the rooms get an upgrade we will definitely come back.

Its been a while since the pictures for expedia were taken its quite run down now. It was a good location for the ferry just a 5 minute walk but although seafront you couldnt access the water directly from property it was a few minutes walk. Could be cleaner and tidier all round inside and out. Looks unloved.

This property was fine but quite run down. The first night I had mosquitos in every part of my room including the mosquito net, and every night there were movies playing next door that I heard word for word, including a party until 4am. There’s insects everywhere and just lacked an overall vibe. The location is pretty good, very close to the dock but I only really slept here because I didn’t feel like wanting to hang about as a solo traveller.

Property is well located, close to the harbour (but not too close), on a quiet corner. There are good restaurants and dive shop options all walkable. Overall, the property is a little run down, but has great potential. They were building a new pool. The room had a musty smell (particularly the bed), and air conditioning was not as effective as others we have enjoyed in Indonesia. The restaurant was frustrating at times- not bringing the bill when we asked for it (this happened more than once) and so, we stopped eating there.

Great Stay!

We had a great stay. Although we were initially concerned about some of the negative reviews, we found the place to be fantastic. Life moves at a slower pace on the island, and visitors simply need to adjust their expectations.

If a hotel could catfish you with pictures this one did. They are about 15 years out of date. The place is pretty run down. But more to the point there was litter and hairballs all around the property and our bedding was not clean. Weird gross stains and lipstick on it. We heard another guest tried to complain on the phone to management, but it was very clear they did not care in the slightest. We ended up staying elsewhere. Do not recommend.

It’s a wooden cottage, full of insects, dirty net around the bed.Smell of mold inside of wardrobe and since it’s inside of the forest you can hear weird bird all night making weird sounds.I stayed 1 night And booked another hotel.Picture from Expedia is misleading and in reality it’s different story.

7Seas Cottages are only a short walk away from the harbour which is great and a stone's throw away from some really great restaurants and the sunrise spot on the island. We were welcomed by friendly staff members but the room itself was quite dingy and dark and hadn't been fully cleaned when we arrived as there was rubbish in the bathroom. The room and terrace itself needed a lick of paint to freshen it up and the bed was unfortunately really uncomfortable. The WiFi was really poor too which meant we had to go to a coffee shop to do some work. The pool area was great though. Overall this place was really convenient and quiet and the staff were all lovely, I just feel that it needs a little make over to make it amazing and comfortable.

Keep your expectations LOW and you'll be ok

Nothing REALLY bad but would NOT recommend. Paid £45 / USD 66 a night & expected more ROOM - Deluxe Villa - disappointed it was right on the road - photos were misleading. - large but basic - aircon was poor - very dark. - power was constantly going off (so aircon shut down, required someone to turn back on - annoying in the night!). I complained & they tried to tell me it was the govt however all their neighbours had power whilst ours was out - Bathroom nice but no shower head and hot water was very unreliable RESTAURANT: - Staff nice, but over attentive & orders delivered incorrectly - ice bucket for drinks was disgusting - never been washed. - Breakfast disappointing SERVICE: - Overall staff were nice but ineffective and poorly trained - Lack of manager on duty and the place wreaked of poor management. - Staff ignored our 'privacy' sign on the door, to delivery us an incredibly annoying letter seeking to absolve themselves from the huge party that was about to happen in the restuarant next door. Not their fault, but a poor way to handle the matter and they should respect the privacy sign - Any issue reported to the front desk was met with a blank expression, and in one or two cases just the word 'NO' Gili Air was my least favourite of the 3 islands... if you want chilled and quiet go to Meno, if you want something a bit more lively (but still pretty chilled and quiet) go to T.

Na ja, hat ziemlich Luft nach oben

Da ich meinen Aufenthalt verlängert habe und leider nicht im gemütlichen Bungalow bleiben konnte, wechselte ich für zwei Nächte in ein Superior Zimmer. Das einzige was Superior war, war der Preis (habe fast so viel bezahlt wie im Bungalow). Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr ein so dreckiges Zimmer gehabt, wobei ich den Dreck erst nach der ersten Nacht entdeckte (vielleicht lag es auch daran, dass ich eine kräfteraubende Erkältung hatte). Hinter dem Nachttisch lag eine PET-Flasche, unter dem Bett hatte sich der Dreck und Staub über Tage/Wochen angehäuft, auf dem Bettlacken klebte ein langes dunkles Haar (ich trage kurze, blonde Haare!!!), doch das abscheulichste war, dass hinter dem Kühlschrank etwa 4 leere Chipstüten lagen. Anscheinend gibt es richtig dreckige Gäste, doch dass das von Hotel nicht gereinigt wird, finde ich fast noch bedenklicher. Leider kam mir das Zimmer auch ein wenig wie eine Bruchbude vor: WC-Deckel defekt (keine Arretierung mehr vorhanden), Kühlschrank lief aus (beim prüfen, ob er eingeschaltet ist, stiess ich eben auf die Chipstüten) und auch sonst kam kein gemütliches Feeling auf. Auf den Bildern sieht man all das nicht, Photoshop sei Dank! Schade, denn, wie gesagt, die ersten Tage im Bungalow waren schön.

Früher vielleicht mal schön, aber jetzt total abgewohnt, es ist aber auch nicht sauber, bei unserem Zimmer mussten die Laken gewechselt werden, im anderen die Handtücher mit Make-up Flecken, das Frühstück brauchte über eine Stunde, sorry aber das war eine der schlimmsten Absteigen meiner Reisen.

Nicht empfehlenswert

Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind alt und die ganze Anlage wirkt heruntergekommen. Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 10 Personen dort. Drei haben unmittelbar nach der Anreise in ein anderes Hotel gewechselt. Mein Cottage war vom ersten Eindruck her genügend. Es stellte sich dann aber heraus, dass die Duschtücher Flecken hatten, das Badezimmer voller Ameisen war, das Badezimmer und das Zimmer voller Mücken war. An einem Morgen hatte ich eine tote riesige Kakerlake neben dem Bett. Das Zimmer wurde nicht gereinigt, angeblich weil ich den Schlüssel nicht abgegeben habe und sie nur einen haben. Der Safe funktionierte nicht, er liess sich nicht mehr öffnen, wahrscheinlich weil ei früherer Gast ihn geschlossen zurückliess. Das Hotel konnte auch hier nichts machen. Zwei Sterne gebe ich deshalb, weil ich positiv überrascht war, wie gut die auf dem Hotelareal lebenden Katzen gehalten werden. Das Frühstück war eher klein und man konnte nur ein Getränk haben. Die Qualität war in Ordnung.

Henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä. Huone (villa) tilava ja siisti ja uima-allas loistava. Aamupala ihan ok mutta ei loistava. Muutama torakka vähän laski tunnelmaa mutta niitä ei onneksi ollut riesaksi asti. Sijainti loistava.
