Rent a small boat to navigate the charming canals that wind through this car-free village's thatched-roof cottages. Museum 'De Oude Aarde' displays an impressive collection of gems and minerals, while nearby restaurants serve traditional Dutch pancakes with canal-side views.
This is a very nice accommodation and facility. We spent a few days here and loved it. We hired bikes from the hotel and the staff were great at ensuring we knew how to get about.
Breakfast was delicious, coffee machine in the room comes with fresh beans. A great find

We stayed here for one night and was extremely happy with it. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. The manager told us where to park at Giethoorn and where to hire a boat enthusiastically. Parking is easy, we parked right outside the premises. Dinner is very nice and price is reasonable. Most guests sit outside to have drinks and get back indoors to eat as it was windy. However, there is no lift, it will cause some problems with heavy luggages. We packed only the essential items...
