"The staff at the hotel are very friendly, and the room is tidy and clean. The hotel has a long history, which adds to its charm. My favorite part is the beautiful view—right by the river, it’s simply stunning! I will stay here again if visit Gero next time."

"This hotel is the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff were helpful and always very friendly. The breakfast option was extraordinary, a private banquet of traditional Japanese dishes. The hot spring is beautiful, a rock pool flowing with healing water, always available. It is right on the Hida River which brings a soft tranquility. The walk into town is short, 15 or 20 minutes brings you to the center of town, with many dining options, temples and shrines. A truly memorable and relaxing experience."

"There's staff to welcome and orientate us upon arrival. And since it's a large hotel with 3 buildings, the staff briefed us and walked us to the building where our room was. Nice breakfast and we have 3 onsens to choose from! It's also conveniently located within walking distance or a short drive to the main sights at Gero. "
