"I had an apartment with a kitchenette for 1 week at the Esplanade. Since I didn't have a car, it was convenient--only about 3 blocks from the Hauptbahnhof and a couple of blocks from the central pedestrian zone. The property itself was attractive with a pleasant breakfast area and a nice enclosed central courtyard. The staff was also quite friendly and attentive. The sauna was a very nice, unexpected benefit at the end of tiring days. An excellent option in central Dortmund!"
"Very nice place to stay, so easy to walk, to the Dortmund Messe, breakfast was wonderful, and dinner menu fine.
Found the front desk staff very helpful and efficient with a most pleasant disposition, as were the restaurant staff.

"Für den Preis war der Aufenthalt ausgezeichnet. Mein Zimmer war groß, mit einem breiten, bequemen Bett, und alles war makellos sauber. Das Personal war während meines gesamten Aufenthalts höflich und effizient."
"The hotel balanced convenience and comfort. Central location for exploring, but quiet inside for resting. The spotless room and helpful staff made it easy to relax."
