Construction site has lasted too long. Hopefully it’s over soon. Rooms are still comfortable, breakfast buffet was good. We will come again, hopefully under well-known conditions.
I liked the staff who worked at night. They were excellent.
WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE. WE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED OUR STAY.
This is my new favorite place in DC. Absolutely charming, well appointed, and the room was HUGE.
We loved the location, cleanliness, and fully trained staff who were professional and friendly. We also enjoyed our room that was big, clean and quite. This is one the best well managed Four Season Hotels we have visited in top tourist areas. We loved the spa that was extremely nice and clean. with ...
I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Georgetown. While this is “no frills” accommodation, it really has everything you’ll need if you consider your hotel just a home base for seeing the city. Lots of shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. It is also near the waterfront and quiet ...
I did not like check in! I was told because I came early I could not check in so I had to hold my luggage ! The cleanliness was AMAZING and so was the food!, the gym was very nice as well!
The fact that the building was an incinerator in its previous life made going into the rooms little intricate.
So quiet, elegant style. A wonderful find! Wonderful accomadations and great rooftop bar.
The Georgetown neighbourhood welcomes visitors with convenient options for restaurants. The neighbourhood's friendly people and college atmosphere are just a couple of its charming qualities. You can satisfy your cultural palate with art and theatre. Hotels in Georgetown provide a good starting point for sightseeing in and around the Washington area.
The museums and theatres provide some cultural flavour, while the monuments and historic sites offer insight into local lore. Browse the collections at Dumbarton Oaks, Museum of Contemporary Art, or Veerhoff Galleries. You can attend a show at JFK Center for Performing Arts, Kennedy Center, and Aaron and Cecile Goldman Theater. Monuments like Justice William O. Douglas Statue, La Maison Française, and Kahlil Gibran Memorial Garden honour the area. Tudor Place, Exorcist Stairs, and Old Stone House are a few landmarks that can't be missed. Take a tour of campus around Georgetown University, George Washington University, or University of the District of Columbia. Volta Park, Francis Pool, and Smithsonian's National Zoo will provide enjoyment for the whole family.
Many visitors like to do some shopping while in town, but there are a number of other activities. Book Hill Park, Francis Scott Key Memorial Park, and Bishop John Carroll Statue are some scenic spots that are popular with the locals. Looking for a little retail therapy? Consider a shopping trip to Cady's Alley, Cadys Alley Shopping Center, and Georgetown Park. If you're looking for something else to do, head to William I Jacobs Recreational Complex, Bender Arena, and Reeves Athletic Complex & Greenberg Track.
Some of the area's most popular sights are Lincoln Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, and Washington Monument. Montrose Park, Father Patrick Healy Memorial, and Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Monument are other must-sees.
