This is an excellent hotel located 150 feet from the central train station. It is in great condition and the breakfast is good. The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars is that the room was very hot (in April) and there was no A/C controls in it. At night I had to open windows facing the railroad tracks so there was a lot of noise. If you decide to stay there, please ask for a room facing away from the trains.

Super clean well equipped room and decent breakfast with great views from the 8th floor. Check in and breakfast staff could not have been nicer. Check out staff not so good - wonder why? Very convenient for the station and for walking to the lake.

Front desk staff is not friendly. Room was suitable for a night or two but very very small. Asked for second set of pillows.

Excellent location in the best of Geneva just beside the main train station. The staff is very helpful and coordial. Also love the part of Tintin history of this hotel.

Perfect for getting through jet-lag. Black out curtains and quiet helped us breeze through the jet lag period. Conveniently located for either walking around Geneva or taking a day trip to Montreux.

Thought this was a great hotel. I actually stayed two different times during my trip and stayed in two different rooms. Both were spacious and I enjoyed the views. I liked the location as well and would definitely stay again if I’m in Geneva.

Very convenient, next to train station and other transit options. Breakfast very nice, and with a good view as well! Only drawback was that AC did not work very well and window had to stay closed at night due to noise.

Comfortable room right next to the train station but surprisingly quiet despite that. Great location not to far from the heart of everything. Gym has poor internet reception (as it’s deep in the basement) and lacks enough equipment. Hotel provides free laundromat use (and I found out too late that not all hotels in Switzerland are that gracious and some charge exhorbitant prices). Shower drained slowly. Overall a good experience!

The staff were friendly and helpful. We found the location to be ideal - conveniently located adjacent to the main train station, shopping, and dining, and has easy access to public transit buses and trams. It is an easy walk to Lake Geneva (Lake Leman to locals). Old Town Geneva is just across the river. No in-house dining except breakfast (19 CHF) but many restaurants nearby. Only down side is that the AC struggled to keep the room cool but it was the middle of summer.

If you want to play air conditioning roulette on a hot summer night then this is the place! Maybe your room has A/C, maybe not. If not of course the "hotel is full so we cannot give you another room" Or your money back or a room at any of the other hotels in the group.

Really convenient as right next to the train station. The rooms are really quiet even with trains running next to them. Staff were really nice and helpful. The room was hot and the air conditioning wasn’t working so we requested the front desk for a fan and they got it for us within minutes.

The hotel is very clean and spacious. The staff was also super friendly and speaks great English, communication was easy. It’s also located right next ti the train station which made it super convenient for just a one night stay and break, while it’s not noisy at all.

The Cornavin was exactly what we needed in every way. It is across from the train station and the bus station. It’s one stop to the airport in under 10 minutes. There is a travel pass that makes buses and trains free. The hotel was basic but perfect. Would recommend it and return.
