"Parking was around the corner but very pricey $60 until midnight or $$65 for 24 hours per day. Distance was not too far but you have to drag your luggage on sidewalk to get there. Bar was excellent. Facilities were excellent. Would recommend this hotel. I would return again as it is in a perfect location with excellent views and walking distance to everything. "

"Great location for our event at Soldier Field. The hotel lobby is amazing, this hotel has a lot of potential to be a favorite with all the history surrounding it. However, the rooms were a bit tired, the elevators were not very clean and the carpet in our room needed to be clean (wore white Sox around room and the bottoms were black. The room we were originally assigned to when it was early check in was to be 1975, but when we arrived they assigned us to 1529. 1975 had the much better view overlooking Lake Michigan, while 1529 was a small partial view of the lake. That was a disappointment. Also, as big as the rooms are they could have used a microwave, I thought this was a miss. The staff we encountered were very friendly and awesome to deal with. I would probably give this Hotel another chance, hopefully they can make some adjustments."

"We arrived to check in & there was a sign the POOL was closed! We had planned on frequent use of the pool. Check in staff said it was widely stated on their website, but we used Expedia & it was not. Very disappointed. The Good: Food at Lakeside cafe was excellent! The bands in the bar by the casino were great! Even the country one & I usually don't like country. The Bad: The beds were awful, lumpy & squeaky, pillows were so uncomfortable flat & hard. We were looking for the Sports bar to watch NBA, the bartender told us to go to the Table game supervisor to have him change the channel, I did but TVs were too small to see. Asked about the Sports bar & the bartender said they don't have one, but later my husband found it! This bartender clearly does not like his job or Blue Chip for that matter! The Ugly: Lost terribly in the casino, slots were very tight. And they offer no Play money when you open a card. In conclusion: We will not be back"

"Overall had a very comfortable stay. We enjoyed our room, which was quite large and comfortable. A little noisy with our window facing the alley. The first doorman we interacted with was absolutely delightful and so helpful. Unfortunately the other shift was covered by a somewhat surly and very unhelpful staff member. Front desk staff was pleasant. The cafe connected to the hotel had very good food with a huge menu and reasonable prices. Overall, it was a solid hotel in a great location with a very good price."
