"The property is located in the Lancashire countryside with walking from the doorstep and outdoor space including a large enclosed garden and a shared play area. We are regular Xmas visitors because the open plan ground floor with 2 seating areas the dining area and the kitchen makes a perfect location for our family get together. The cottage is well equipped, warm and roomy and the owners could not be more accommodating."

The common spaces were spectacular for entertaining, and the bedrooms were serene and comfortable. The photos online simply don't do justice to the scale, craftsmanship, and ambiance of the home. The property was equipped with everything we could possibly need and more, making our special weekend completely seamless and stress-free. It provided the most magical backdrop for such a milestone birthday. If you are looking for a venue that combines luxury, comfort, and breathtaking design for any group gathering or celebration, I cannot recommend The Piggeries highly enough. "Absolutley remarkable and breath taking place! Great location and perfect place to reconnect with your body and friends and family, very spacious and very convenient and safe place. Astonishing views, animals and nature perfect spot for isolating and disappearing for the weekend away. Thank you so much for letting us stay and experience this beautiful cottages.. "We chose this cottage primarily because it is accessible. Two of the three of us who stayed there are disabled. We were very pleased with the design, fixtures and fittings. The cottage itself is ideal and the location is excellent. The settees were a bit too low for people with limited mobility, but it isn't a major issue. Another minor matter is the track up to the cottage which could do with some evening out and repair. On the other hand, everything else was great including the beds and the bathrooms. Would we go there again? Yes and without any hesitation"

"Great size accommodation.Excellently situated.Would like to return again because of location however accommodation needs some loving care.Although ample size for family of 8 furnishings could do with upgrade.Showers could do with good clean due to mould .Large outdoor space very well maintained .Host excellent left us alone but was contactable if needed.If was upgraded and cleaned a bit more I would definitely return ."
