Quiet Neighborhood walking distance to many family friendly activities. You can drive to Schlitterbahn and Moody Gardens in about 10 minutes. You can drive to the Strand in about 3 minutes. You can walk to the beach in about 2 minutes without children and about 6 minutes with children. You can walk to the park in about 3 minutes as well with tennis courts, skate park, splash pad and playground.

Galveston Anniversary Getaway

Very conveniently located within walking distance of great restaurants and the beach. Clean and comfortable vintage Galveston with safe, convenient off street parking. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect spot not far from the beach. The floorboards on the porch were concerning. Other than that we have nothing negative to say. Cozy for the four of us. Whatever we needed supermarket and restaurants are nearby.

The owners made everything easy! Lots of supplies like cooking oil, pots and pans, ice, stuff to clean with. We did miss having sugar, salt and pepper, tea and a blender.

Cute place convenient location

Cute little house, recently remodeled to be nice and clean. Will warn that the wood floor and deck are old pier & beam so even though they were sound, expect some give when walking. Was centrally located near the areas we wanted to be. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 teen boys. 1 boy took the extra room and the other was happy with the couch. Nice for a long weekend getaway.

Flamingo Fest Retreat

VERY convenient to nearby attractions. Quiet neighborhood. Street lights are spread out but still felt safe. Bring your own shampoo/conditioner and shower soap, the bathrooms only had 1 small travel size. We used the Italian restaurant listed in the book.... amazing!! Plus they delivered! Defiantly staying here again. The only complaint the front door takes 2 keys. A bit inconvenient because our hands were usually full.

Excellent all-around

So glad we decided to select this property for a quick trip to Galveston over Presidents' Day weekend. The property and location were as expected. Did not need to contact the owners regarding any issues during the stay, but did contact Ike regarding a couple of logistical check in/out aspects. Very responsive, which was an indication to me the same would have been true had I contacted him with any actual issues. Property was very clean. Coffee and condiments provided for the entire stay was very nice. Location was an easy, quick walk to the Seawall and Pleasure Pier specifically (this is from someone who doesn't walk very quickly). No complaints, and we will definitely consider staying here again for our next trip to Galveston.

Nice house close to things we wanted to do like pleasure peer, downtown, restaurants, etc. Would consider this again for another trip to Galveston.

Host was quick to respond. Only issues were no kitchen towels, porch “spongy”. And if you’re tall- this is the house for you! I had difficulty reaching microwave, cabinets and clothes hangers but there is a step stool for use.
