Lovely place

It was clean, across the street from the ocean.which was great. Very reasonably priced. Fairly small for 5 people. Loved the pool, nothing worked the fitness center.

Prom Weekend

Our stay was great. The condo location was great. Access was easy, except for one elevator not functioning. Only other slight negative was the bathroom floor looked like it hadn't been mopped or swept. Aside from this all was great.

Beach Fabulous Beach

This place was perfect for our group of 2 adults and 2 kids. We enjoyed the pool every day and the kids met lots of new friends. The living space was homey and cozy and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was equipped well enough for us to make breakfast, lunch and dinner during our stay. The condo was located across the street from Babes beach and we spent a lot of time there playing in the surf and sand. There is a lifeguard on duty there so it is pretty safe. I would stay at the Victorian again in the future.

Better than expected!

We had the best time on our vacation, despite Tropical Storm Alberto. The condo was clean and felt homey. The beds were comfortable. The TV was HUGE! It’s perfectly located to the laundry and trash chute. There is a stop light next to the facility that made crossing the road to and from the beach easy. We spent a lot of time watching the rain and waves from the patio. We will be staying here again.

Great location. It is near a stoplight - that's important!

This property is near a stoplight. To ever be able to cross the very busy Seawall Blvd to get to the ocean you have to go to a stoplight. It is just too busy to jaywalk across. With the stoplight right there you don't have to do a lot of extra walking. We were comfortable during our stay. Our only suggestion is to get brighter lighting for the kitchen and dining area, which was pretty dark. We enjoyed our stay and felt it was worth the money.

Nice owner

We stayed here 2 nights for a local wedding. The condo was not quite as pictured. The sleeper sofa was different and had stains on the mattress. The twin bed was also not as pictured with the pillows and the curtains were torn. There was no internet service because of the small tropical storm 3 days prior. The best part was the owner who was very responsive. This condo would be good for a small family or couple just wanting to go to the beach and swim in the pool.

We had a great time on our little mini-vacation in Galveston. This property is very convenient. It’s right across the street from the beach. You can see the beach from the little deck. There is also a nice view to one of the pools. The host is VERY responsive to communication and will make sure your stay is good. There was a miscommunication with her cleaning service and when we arrived the place hadn’t been cleaned yet. We texted the host and she called back right away and was very apologetic, (she was surprised as well!) and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and happy. She was very friendly and helpful. And after that initial hiccup, the unit was clean and nice. The complex itself is a bit dated. Not bad, just looks like it’s glory days are a little passed by. The pools are nice. The hot tubs were decent. Only one was working when I was there. I actually did go and check out the fitness center and I was slightly concerned about the condition of the weight equipment… but hey, who uses the gym on vacation anyway, right? The restaurant and conference center don’t look like they’ve been used in quite some time and the general appearance of the property is just kind of so-so. If you’re wanting a really fancy place, this probably won’t be the one to pick. But I would definitely consider this place a bargain and I would book here again without hesitation if I was back in Galveston! The price vs what you get ratio makes this a 5 star choice for me!

Beds were super comfortable, close to the laundry facilities, great view from the condo itself! Short walk to the beach and close vicinity to grocery shopping. When we did not want to spend time at the beach the pool was a great amenity! It was a perfect place to stay with my young son for a week.
