Amazing place
The pictures don’t give this place justice. So close to the beach that I was able to take my dogs there. It so spacious but cozy. Communication with the owner was perfect with timely responses. There were a few things not working but he answered quickly regarding them. None of it hindered me enjoying my stay here. It was absolutely perfect.

The house was quaint with nice beach deco. We found the property easily. We were disappointed with several things like : none working microwave, none working porch light which made it hazardous going down the stairs at night. We had to small pets and they provided a cover to the couch but it was smelly and full of dog hair. We washed it for them.Thankfully we brought our own.This property has great potential but I wish it was cleaner and they paid attention to details.

I know it’s a little late but wanted to reach out to you. We have had a company running our house this last year and have been hands off with the cleaning of the property. This week we went down to turn the water off for the freeze and was totally disappointed with the house. I was unaware that the house was not being taking care of the way we have done in the past. Needless to say the company will be going and we will be back to making sure that the house is presentable ever time it is rent. Sorry for such a late response but it is definitely being taking seriously.

This was our second time staying in this sweet and cozy home! We enjoyed how close it is to the beach and how much space there is to enjoy the yard while grilling out. We have already decided this will be an annual trip!

Perfect for two people. Tammy and Mark have done a great job. Lovely countertops in the kitchen. Consider furnishing a cutting board so they don't get messed up. We have more to explore in Galveston. We'll be going back. 👍

Great place, great location
Great location, easy to find and plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 dogs. With a medium and a large dog kennel set up we still had plenty of space. Our pups loved the fenced in yard. We loved the outdoor seating, we drank our coffee outside each morning. We loved the option of having access to bikes, but our weekend was too short and we ran out time to use them. All the instructions were clear and straight forward, we had no issues and absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Property is cute and nicely appointed inside. Bed was very comfortable. Yard is big if you bring along your pups. Kitchen has everything you need for your stay Downsides: AC unit was very dirty and was dropping black chunks into the sink. Front door was dirty on the inside along with bathroom floors esp round the toilet. Yard still had animal droppings from previous guests. Cockleburrs in the yard so check your pups when they come back inside. They are small and painful. Lights on deck steps don't work. Upsides: bikes and beach supplies were awesome. House is in a quiet area even though some of the surrounding houses are sketchy. Easy to get to anything in town esp down 25th to the seawall. Hose provided was a lifesaver coming back from the beach. House is very quiet on the inside and perfect for a couple and a pup or 2. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here...esp if they get the cleaning issues resolved.

Nice Little Home
The house was great for the two of us. There was plenty of of room inside and we were very comfortable. We brought our small dog with us and the big fenced in yard was really nice for her to roam around. There was a dehumidifier which helped to keep the house nice and cool in the August heat.

We had a bit of a time finding the property but the hosts were kind about staying on the phone and guiding us to their lovely bungalow. The property was warm and inviting. We did a lot of relaxing. Very homey. We would rent the accommodations again. Thanks for a wonderful first time experience.

Fun Girl weekend
This was such a neat little property. We had a girl weekend with 1 besties. We rode bike down the Seawall, shopped til we dropped at the Strand and just had a great time exploring Galveston. The house had everything we needed. Communication with the hosts was very easy. Definitely a great weekend!

Easy check in. Great location. My son and I stayed here while in town for the Ironman 70.3. It was an easy drive to everything we needed. Perfect home base to relax and let his dog stretch his legs. Love the little deck!

Who would have guessed that on a Sunday morning after breakfast we returned to load up and check out. We missed our turn and pulled in facing the wrong direction then decided to walk the dogs before our journey home. On our return we noticed a $30 parking citation. Nice way to treat spring break visitors Galveston PD!!

The only thing that we didn't like is the shower didn't work. I'm an old guy and haven't taken a bath in 40 years! I hate taking Baths.

Sorry about the shower. The shower has been fixed. Sometimes Galveston will shut water off and when it comes back on sediment will go through the lines and clog the filters that are already being restricted due to the the special filters they are putting in new faucets. All it needed was the filter cleaned on the shower head.

34th anniversary get away
My husband and I own a business and rarely ever get time away. We found this cabin last year for our anniversary and decided to stay again this year. It’s very quaint and relaxing.

My wife and I were celebrating our 1-year anniversary, and we enjoyed every second of it! This property is equal distance form both the Seawall and the Strand, both an easy 5-10 minute bike ride away (which the house provided). We also brought along our dog Charlie. The neighborhood was a little rundown, but we found no issues during our stay as this house was spotless! The backyard was big enough for Charlie to run around and enjoy himself. We especially liked being able to park our car inside the main gate beside the house and utilize the bikes to save on gas. If you're looking to stay close to the Strand and Seawall for good price, this house is perfect!

I LOVED this place. Perfect for a little family get away. Being able to have access to a fully equipped kitchen was honestly one of my favorite things, oh and the washer and dryer, it’s hard to keep everything clean at the beach! The toys and bikes that are available for use were AMAZING, even had two chairs and a HUGE beach umbrella, which was nice because we forgot everything lol. The house itself is so much bigger on the inside from what you see on the outside, I was the perfect size for us all. Super clean, came with cleaning supplies, I am a freak about staying clean so that was nice being able to pick up after ourselves. The owners were also very nice and prompt about everything, great communication. I highly recommend this location for couples and small three people families. If you love walking, this is also a perfect location. I noticed someone had said the location was ghetto, I mean have you been to Galveston before? I loved this spot, it was nice and quiet, cool A/C, huge plus, can park in the lot, high privacy fence all the way around, I mean I could go on forever about all the pros of this location. Thank you again for letting us use your home for our getaway!

Perfect Getaway
My husband and I celebrated our ten year anniversary in Galveston. This beach rental was PERFECT. It was comfortable, pretty, convenient, and affordable. I loved the little details in this cute property. Everything from the large gated yard, the cork collection from past guests, and the EASE of temperature and light controls along with two very equipped TVs made this stay an absolute dream. Fun vacation!
Super cute house with great location - easy to walk to beach or Strand and see bungalows and Victorians along the way. Thoughtful amenities like bikes and accessories, beach chair, games, etc. Really enjoyed the deck but unable to eat outdoors due to flies...probably from trash can below. Sweet ants in kitchen despite being really careful to keep food and scraps in refrigerator and faucet dribbles...needs a new rubber seal, looks like.

Overall the place was nice. Full kitchen, liked that there was a washer and dryer. Loved the outside deck. Yard was huge for our Frenchie and English bulldog. In the bedroom the walls near the ceiling could use a good dusting. The gate at the front looked like it may need a new latch. We did enjoy our stay.

a couple of suggestions
* I enjoyed my stay at your property. A few things to improve... 1. I didn't need the key on the first level next to storage. There was a second key on the kitchen window sill if I needed to access the storage on the 1st level. So during check-in it's not necessary to get the key from the 1st level. Just check-in on floor #2. 2. The hot water in the shower is VERY HOT. I actually scalded myself by accident the first night. You might want to adjust that. 3. Adding a soap dish and hand towel holder in the bathroom would be nice. 4. There was no laundry detergent where the washer/dryer are. Just fabric sheets and bleach 5. The batteries for the TV remote in the bedroom were dead. I had to switch out with another remote. You might suggest the cleaning crew check that all TVs work. And all supplies don't need to be replaced.

Great Place!
This little place is a gem. Easy to find and check in, we were able to park our Honda CRV behind the fence without any issues, very nicely updated property. We traveled with our labradoodle, and crating him was not an issue as we do that on occasion at home, and the yard was nice to let him get a little exercise while we supervised.

Cute house, not a great location.
This house was super cute and for the most part, pretty accurately described. It was clean aside from the microwave, freezer and several dishes were dirty inside the cabinets. Owners are wonderful to work with, very comfortable beds, nice big yard and I was incredibly grateful for pet friendly. All in all great place, but the reason for lower stars is because of the location. This house is in a less than desirable part of town, we did not feel very safe most of our stay. It was our first time in Galveston, so this may be how most of the town is, but the only reason we stayed is because of other reviews saying they didn’t have issues. Loud music from the neighbors, we heard car alarms go off as we were leaving early in the morning, we didn’t enjoy the location but everything else was great.

Great vacation stay!
Wonderful property, close to everything—the beach, The Strand, Pleasure Pier. Our dogs loved zooming around the fenced yard and lounging with us on the deck in the evening. Beautiful, clean home with everything you would need for a great vacation. We would definitely stay again!! Thank you!!
