In Town Island Bungalow- Near Strand, Beach & Pleasure Pier

Galveston bungalow, located in the heart of Galveston Island! Perfect location, just 10 minute walk to Beach, restaurants and Pleasure Pier. Opposite direction, 10 minute walk to the strand offering island shopping and variety of restaurants. This 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom bungalow is the perfect getaway and centrally located close to the islands many attractions!

The home is fully equipped with everything you need to just come in and start relaxing. Includes blender, toaster, coffee maker, games, charcoal pit, large front porch and deck, large fenced yard, all great for entertaining. Four adult and two children beach bicycles are provided to tour Galveston with. Save on parking by walking or riding bikes to favorite attractions.

Our home will comfortably accommodate 4 people in beds. There is one queen bed in the bedroom and fold out couch converts to full bed in the living area. The full bath offers a standard tub with shower.

Home has recently been renovated with new stainless steel appliances and beautiful quartz counter and bar tops.

Washer and dryer are included for your convenience.

The bungalow is located just off 25th Street, only minutes away from Beach, the strand and Cruise Terminal. Other nearby attractions are Pleasure Pier and the seawall.

Nearby restaurants include "The Spot", Shrimp and Stuff, Fisherman's Warf, Fish Tails, and many other types of restaurants.

On street parking is available on a first come basis. We also have gate access from the alley allowing for private parking next to home.

As a courtesy to our neighbors, we cannot accept prom parties, graduation parties or young spring breakers. This is a family oriented area with good neighbors. You must be 25 years of age to reserve this property.

During Hurricane Season you will only receive a full refund if there is a named category 1 (one) or higher storm in the Gulf of Mexico and its is directed at Galveston.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

If you must cancel, we ask that you do so at least 30 days prior to your arrival date to be eligible for a full refund.

Great potentials
The house was quaint with nice beach deco. We found the property easily. We were disappointed with several things like : none working microwave, none working porch light which made it hazardous going down the stairs at night. We had to small pets and they provided a cover to the couch but it was smelly and full of dog hair. We washed it for them.Thankfully we brought our own.This property has great potential but I wish it was cleaner and they paid attention to details.

Perfect for two people. Tammy and Mark have done a great job. Lovely countertops in the kitchen. Consider furnishing a cutting board so they don't get messed up. We have more to explore in Galveston. We'll be going back. 👍

Great place, great location
Great location, easy to find and plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 dogs. With a medium and a large dog kennel set up we still had plenty of space. Our pups loved the fenced in yard. We loved the outdoor seating, we drank our coffee outside each morning. We loved the option of having access to bikes, but our weekend was too short and we ran out time to use them. All the instructions were clear and straight forward, we had no issues and absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Quiet and cute
Property is cute and nicely appointed inside. Bed was very comfortable. Yard is big if you bring along your pups. Kitchen has everything you need for your stay Downsides: AC unit was very dirty and was dropping black chunks into the sink. Front door was dirty on the inside along with bathroom floors esp round the toilet. Yard still had animal droppings from previous guests. Cockleburrs in the yard so check your pups when they come back inside. They are small and painful. Lights on deck steps don't work. Upsides: bikes and beach supplies were awesome. House is in a quiet area even though some of the surrounding houses are sketchy. Easy to get to anything in town esp down 25th to the seawall. Hose provided was a lifesaver coming back from the beach. House is very quiet on the inside and perfect for a couple and a pup or 2. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here...esp if they get the cleaning issues resolved.
