Enjoy our New heated pool & Hot Tub plus splash pad! You will be staying in 'DolphinSmile', a luxury condo sitting on the seawall of Galveston Island. We invite you to share our fun creation, a playful dolphin theme for the family while still saving a little luxury for you. Pamper your senses with soft new leather and sandy-beach colored tile. The over-sized master bedroom has a wonderful water view from the king-size bed. The other bedroom sleeps two in a queen size bed. The hallway area hosts 2 adult sized bunks. The leather sofa sleeper folds out for 2 more. Enjoy! This condo also has a convenient washer/dryer. Save food budget in your fully equipped kitchen. Wherever you choose to stay, I hope you bring home many special Galveston memories.

1. Construction Notice:
***As you enter the complex, you might notice a small construction project at the very
front. This is no where near this condo!
2. Pet Policy:
We welcome furry friends! If you're planning to bring your dog, please inform us about the type and weight for approval. A non-refundable pet fee of $150 plus tax applies for two dogs up to 35 pounds each. Kindly add 'PET' to your reservation. NOTE: If you bring a pet that you have NOT paid for, this is in violation of our House Rules and you could be asked to leave with no refund.

3. Parking Information:
Ample covered and uncovered parking is available at the complex. A fee of $10.00 per car per day plus sales tax is applicable. Note that the office does not accept cash. Trailers are allowed only during special event weekends and are subject to the same rate as cars. Parking rates are capped after $70.00 for a 30-day period.

4. EXTENDED STAYS Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online so please message us with your request.

Wonderful!

It was very clean and nice! No complaints at all. I loved that we could sit on the balcony and watch our 10 and 12 year old swim in the heated pool. Our little dog had a great stay too, nice dog friendly areas. We walked to the beach several times. Owner was very good at communicating

My wife and I have stayed multiple times over the last 10 year in the Dolphin Smile View. Every year we consider other condominiums, but in the end always go back to the Dolphin Smile. It's a great value now during the upgrade of the entire property!

I've stayed at a few of these and my family and I can honestly say, this one was the cleanest, most stocked, manager stayed in contact constantly for anything we may need! I will stay here again! Family friendly place. I wish I could give them 6 stars!

Great place to stay!

This is a wonderful beachfront condo in a well-maintained complex. Anything you can think of was supplied. I appreciated that there was an elevator and we didn’t have to walk up to the third floor. Beautiful poolside and beach views from the balcony.

Such a great place to stay. 5 stars for everything! Condo was in a great location, loved the top floor views and the big balcony. It was so nice and super clean. Everything you would need to get you started is provided. Couldn’t ask for a better host! We would absolutely stay here again.

Cute, Fabulous Place!

This condo was perfect for our family Christmas trip! Everything was exactly as described and pictured. We had plenty of room for family of 6. Everyone had their own bed-always a plus. The kitchen was just like home with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. On top of all that, Dave was an amazing host and had great communication. This is definitely the place to stay in Galveston!

Perfect place for vacation

Dave's property is truly a gem. The view is breathtaking. It is so nice to wake up in the morning seeing the beach and hearing the waves. Very relaxing. The condo itself is complete with all the things that we needed. We were able to cook since it has the kitchen stuff that we needed. The washer and dryer is a big plus. Bed is comfortable. Dave also responds to our message fast and checked on us on what we needed. Dave and Pam's place truly deserve the 5 star rating. Will definitely be booking this place again once we are back in Galveston. My family loved it.

Great stay!!

Overall, we had a great stay! When we arrived one of the elevators was down, which was challenging getting our luggage upstairs to the third floor. The next day we were able to find other usable elevators so didn’t have to take the stairs! The condo was great and very clean! I wished we had been able to use to balcony more but the mosquitoes were horrible in the evening! So that kept us inside instead of being able to enjoy the sounds of the ocean! He pools were great and we might have been the only crazy people in the non-heated most days but the kids loved the pool with the island! Thanks again for everything!

5 Stars!! Excellent Experience!

This is by far the best VRBO experience I’ve ever had. The condo was extremely clean and organized. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked. We had everything we needed and more! It was so nice to wake up in the morning and have coffee and cream available. Extra linens for the sofa bed and dinette bed were clean and crisply folded in labeled bins in the closet. The view of the ocean from the balcony and primary bedroom were amazing! And the communication from Dave was outstanding. He checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. I can’t think of a single thing that could have made our stay more comfortable. I will book with Dave again on our next trip to Galveston!!

Spring Break

The condo itself was spotless, and provided everything you needed such as towels, dishes, etc. It's not that big, and there is only one couch. I feel like the pictures depicted a larger space than what was the reality. The pillows need to be replaced in the bedrooms. They're extremely flat, and the bedspreads are clean, but are are worn out and need to replaced with something newer. The condo complex where this condo resides is old, outdated, messy, & disappointing. During our stay, the water was shut off for 3 hrs on Tuesday. The pools are not as they seem in the pictures as they need to be maintained much better. The lounge chairs are cheap plastic and need to be soaped down and scrubbed. They were extremely dirty. If I had know that this condo was in this building, I would have never booked it. I've stayed in bigger, much nicer condos, with better facilities, than this one and spent less money. WAY over priced for what you get. We loved our time in Galveston, and will come back, but will for sure stay somewhere else.

Wonderful!

Wonderful communication with the host from booking to checking out, Dave is a great host! The listing is accurate, the unit is absolutely adorable. Equipped with everything we needed. The view is nice with the waves of the gulf and the heated pool right below the unit. Attention to detail amazing, the unit is very Clean! We would love to stay again!

Clean, well-appointed unit with great views

We stayed at Dave's property with myself, my mom, my brother and his family. We were easily able to fit our large group in the unit. I looked at other units within this complex and couldn't really tell them apart online. After having been there, I can say that this one is likely one of the best. It is on the end and the top floor, so probably among the most quiet. It has great views of both the gulf and the surrounding area (windows on two sides of the unit). The kitchen was well-stocked. The only downside we noticed was the balcony railing seemed a little loose (so we kept the littlest kids off of the balcony). Would definitely stay again!

This property was clean and well appointed with a great balcony. The complex is undergoing renovation, but we had no noise to deal with from it, and I'm sure the complex will be great when finished.

Great place!

Everything was perfect and Dave was very informative, so much so that I didn’t even have to ask about anything during our stay! The pools were great - you can even see one of them from the balcony so we let our teenagers go down and we stayed upstairs! Beach is right across the street and the view from the balcony is amazing! They are doing some renovations to the front of the building, but it doesn’t impact where the condo is.
