Beautiful 2 Bedroom Vacation Condo in Galveston - Great Gulf Views

Beautiful 2 bed/2 full bath condo, located directly on the Seawall on the 9'th floor. Walk across the street to Galveston's new "Babe's Beach". Completely unobstructed view of the ocean; the building has a 24 hour concierge on site, and the building has an elevator. Onsite amenities include onsite community laundry, tennis court, onsite pool, security, trash, water and sewer.

Tile in every room provides for an allergy free stay. Modern kitchen has utensils, plates and cups and with stainless steel appliances.

Kitchen comes fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and basic cooking utensils.

Open concept dining room and living room have stunning ocean front views.
One bedroom has a king size bed, and another bedroom has a queen size bed. Bedroom 1 has a private full bath, inside the bedroom, and large walk-in closet. Bedroom 2 has an ocean view, with a closet with a sliding door, and the bathroom is located just outside the door of the bedroom and can be shared with guests who are using the living room area.

Property has a pool and tennis courts.

Close to restaurants, Wal-Mart, and transportation - Galveston trolley line runs in front of condominium property on Seawall Blvd and in back of property on Stewart.

Exactly what expected. There was some miscommunication regarding the parking fees but we contacted the property manager and got a response and refund right away. Great views, right across the beach. Would definitely book again.

August beach trip

Great property for our group of 2 adults and 2 kids. Short walk across the street to the beach, great community pool, balcony view of the waves and secure parking made for a great weekend getaway before the next school year gets underway. We would definitely consider this property again.

AC worked very well. The ocean view was spectacular. More water pressure would have been nice, but overall manageable. Would stay again if given the opportunity.

This is the second year we have stayed at the same condo for the bike rally, which is a great location. We have never had any problems with the condo or the area. We felt safe. The condo is clean and has all the amenities needed.

The place was very clean and very cutely decorated. However, the water pressure in one bathoom was non existent. And the other bathroom was so sharp, it It felt like needles on your back. The ocean view bedroom bed was very lumpy. And squeaked so loud, they could hear us roll over in arkansas. The guest toilet would take ten minutes to refill with Water water

Great location - some issues

The location of this property is excellent. Can't beat the view. Overall the property is OK. There are a few issues with water - there was no hot water in kitchen and no water pressure in hall bathroom shower. Also there is no lock on the sliding glass door from the living room. Not an issue for us but could be for small children. Lastly the bifold closet doors in the front bedroom need to be fixed (it doesn't open well at all on one side). Think it just needs a good maintenance inspection to fix a few items.

Perfect for family of four

My husband, two teen sons and I stayed here. The location is perfect. It is very quick and easy for us to get to the beach. You just walk out the front door of the complex and cross the street and you are on the beach. Crossing with teen age kids is no problem. If you have several small children and a lot of beach gear it may be tricky to cross the street. You may need to walk down to the street light, which might be a bit of a hike with small children. The condo was clean and decorated with cute beach decor. The kitchen had everything we needed. The appliances were clean and in good working condition. One of my boys elected to sleep on the couch instead of share the bed with his brother. He is a lanky 15 year old boy and fit just fine. I don’t think a full grown person would be comfortable on the couch, but he didn’t mind. You may need to bring bedding for the couch. We found a couple of small blankets that didn’t fully cover him, but my son didn’t mind. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Can't beat the view

This is a nice condo with an amazing view. Tastefully renovated, however, the bathrooms still need some help. One bathroom had a black substance on the ceiling and the other bathroom had the same substance on the fan - we purchased a bleach cleaner and cleaned it ourselves as we weren't sure what it was. The tub faucet needs replacing, its rusted and corroded. The toilet was running constantly and had to be fixed by my spouse. The recliner on the right side of the couch is broken so if you recline, it won't go back down. You have to crawl out in the middle then push it in and put the leg part down by hand. With the beautiful beach right across the road, it sure would have been appreciated if some beach towels and/or beach chairs were supplied. The $40/day rentals on the beach are picked up at 5pm daily. Overall, we had a great stay but a little maintenance would make all the difference!! Having some brochures and tips about the area in the condo would be a nice touch as well.

We had a great time the concierge desk staff outstanding answered all of our questions. The place was decorated well we gave the ocean view to our friends and we took the first bedroom. Bed was a bit squeaky but nothing too bad overall we would definitely come back again.

The condo had aa beautiful view of the Gulf and was very well cared for. Everything was in order when we checked in. The location is nice. The drawback for both of us were the very soft, and spongy, mattresses. I would suggest updated the mattresses and the linens to cotton. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to and watching the waves.
