August 2025 - temporarily sleeps 5 - sleeper sofa not available (1x king size, 1x queen size beds, and floor options: full size mattresses)

Spacious airy loft/condo with a dramatic ocean view from the entire unit. Let the waves lullaby you to sleep, or just enjoy sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean and sip on morning coffee or an afternoon drink. The condo is located on the third floor and is a part of the fully gated oceanfront community, 'The Dawn Galveston Beach Condominiums'. This condo offers a very unique floor plan, which is rare to find (there are only 16 similar units at the Dawn) and offers an unobstructed ocean view. Condo is very spacious (911 sq ft and 76 sf ft of balcony). Kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, coffee maker, toaster, blender, cookware and dinnerware. A spacious dining area offers seating for 4 people. The master bedroom is connected with its own entrance to the full bathroom, and includes a smart TV with ROKU as well as a spacious walk-in closet. The second bedroom is located in the loft area and it overlooks the living room and shares the ocean view. Master bedroom has brand new platform king size bed and loft bedroom has a new platform queen size bed, both beds feature hybrid Beautyrest mattresses with quality linen. Additional sleeping is available in the living room, where the sleeper sofa can be unfolded into a queen size bed with memory foam mattress. Additional sleeping options is provided in the form of foldable, 4 inch thich full mattress, which is located in the closet and can be placed elsewhere. There is a full size washer and dryer in the condo and large pack n play for your little one.
Complex is gated with additional pedestrian access from the Seawall. It is well maintained with a tropical feeling and offers two pools, hot tub, ocean front gym and picnic area. The entire complex offers an abundance of unassigned parking (one time $30 fee per vehicle).
The condo is located in close proximity to many Galveston attractions, like Moody Gardens, several Fishing piers, Schlitterbahn Water Park, The Historic Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens Golf Course, The Historic district with The Strand shopping area, Post Office Gallery strip, a variety of dinning and shopping opportunities and of course beaches, beaches, and beaches...

Note: There is no elevator access to the condo. The loft bedroom does not have an additional closet, but does include a dresser.

The view was what we came for

And it did not disappoint. Our stay was at the end of April and before the beaches got dressed, so we were so glad the unit faced the beach. The pool setup was great and the unit itself top notch!

We chose this unit for the view, and it did not disappoint; just across the street from the water. Ivana was helpful and very responsive. Everything was clean and just as pictured. Could probably use a lick of paint, but I’m sure it’s tough to keep a rental looking new.

Perfect little condo for our trip. Very clean and decorated very nicely. The only thing I wish was different would be curtains over the loft windows as it gets very bright in there for anyone sleeping. Overall fantastic though.

The best view ever!!

This was a family getaway for me, my spouse and my daughter! The condo looks exactly like the pictures! Everything was so clean and very comfortable for the 3 of us. The view is spectacular! It was centrally located close to everything! We found our new favorite place to stay. Our host was also very quick to respond to any inquiries we had. Great stay!

Spring Break Stay

Unit was well kept and clean and well stocked with kitchen basics / laundry. For us, it was worth spending a few extra dollars to get the gorgeous oceanview offered by this condo. We did not use the pools or facilities of the property, although the pools in particular looked very nice. Communication with Ivana was easy and responses back from her were prompt. Overall, we felt the property was exactly as advertised on VRBO.We did not have a vehicle as we are more than happy to go on 15-30 minute walks to nearby restaurants or a 5 minute walk to the next door Walmart. Would happily return.

Fantastic location overlooking the beach

Beautiful condo overlooking the beach. It was exactly what we needed since we were traveling without a car. With a Walmart right up the street and plenty of restaurants and things to do right near us, this was an all-inclusive spot for us to spend a few days before taking off on a cruise. The owner was very responsive and the overall property was lovely. Be aware that the condo is on the third floor, so if you overpacked your luggage like I did, you will have to carry it up a couple flights of stairs. It’s worth it for the view!

Love this!

We have never been to Galveston before and didn’t know what to expect. This little condo was great for me my husband and 4 kids. They enjoyed the pools, they are pretty! And the beach is a short walk. The only down side is having to climb stairs with luggage. But the unit itself had great views of the beach! Everything that you could need was in the kitchen. If we come back I would definitely stay again!
