"I don't write a lot of reviews, but the staff here was truly outstanding. Tia and Nicole (not sure of spelling for either) we very welcoming and helpful at check-in and breakfast, respectively. The breakfast was so much better than the typical offerings at similar properties. Their effort really made the stay enjoyable."

"Enjoyed our 1 night stay. Super cool to see and hear the seals. We stayed in a river view room. Staff was nice and helpful. Fun to sleep on a ferry! And we enjoyed walking to the shops in Old town. Great location!"

"Staff were friendly and professional. My room was clean and everything was in its place. I wouldn’t go in the pool, there was a goose swimming in it and goose droppings around it. There was litter all around the grounds and the dining area had a lot of dropped food that folks didn’t clean up. I think the staff do what they can but it’s really the people that stay here that don’t clean up after themselves. This hotel does the job for an inexpensive, solo stay for one night. Breakfast was decent."

"Pool was dirty, I was there for a full week and no one cleaned the pool! The kids had to use the Jacuzzi. It’s a great spot to be in Downtown Sacramento and close to everything in downtown. Staff was rude! We ask to have our rooms close by then they said it was full and we see multiple rooms empty in our floor. We ask for butter for breakfast and they were rude and mentioned they don’t have any. Sink were filled w mold and our sheet had stains so we took them off and bought a reusable sheet to add on top on the bed and reusable blankets."
