"I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this hotel! I was a little nervous because of some of the reviews, but I did not have a single problem with my six-night stay here. The room was much larger than I expected and I felt very safe here. There is only one way to access the courtyard and buildings with the rooms in them, which is right past the front desk. The entrance to the courtyard from the street was almost always shut and locked, except when there was hot chocolate and mulled wine with treats being served at the small building in the courtyard. The location was quieter and more local, but still had great restaurants and shops. The metro is close by and very simple to navigate when you get the hang of it to get to other parts of the city. I would recommend this hotel!"

"The location is fantastic, very convenient to go anywhere, metro or RER. The staff are very friendly, room clean and big enough for family. The most impressive part is that each floor has a water filtering mechanism so we can get water to drink. The restaurant downstairs is very good too. "The staff is friendly, speaks English, and is helpful. Rosalie, the cat, is an excellent addition. She greets guests and accepts some gentle love. The room is small, but comfortable. At night it can get a little warm, but the window opens. The mattress is firm, but not lumpy. The hotel is in a quiet street surrounded by many good restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy and the metro. You can walk anywhere within a few minutes and reach the entire town via metro or bus. The bathroom includes a bathtub which is superb after a long day of sightseeing. The towels are thick and clean. The hotel provides soap and body lotion as well as a blow dryer. You should bring some shampoo. We never ran out of hot water which is a plus. "
