Our 2nd story home is sure to delight you. Think girl's getaway, men's golf trip or family staycation! Enter our cozy enclosed staircase off of Commerce Street and head upstairs to enjoy our completely renovated, modern suite.

Our suite features high, restored tin ceilings throughout our. You'll enter into a spacious kitchen featuring NEW everything - lighting, appliances, countertops. You will love creating meals and conversing in this beautiful space. You'll have access to a Hamilton Beach Programmable 7 qt Crockpot, a Hamilton BeachParty Dipper Crockpot, Blender and hand mixer in addition to the dishes, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, etc. Step off into the living room and check out the view of bustling Commerce St. Sit and relax in front of the 42" electric fireplace and 55" Sambung Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV. It will be a favorite hang out spot for sure! Our bedrooms are at each end of the home affording you the most privacy. Excellent location! Parked for the weekend & didnt need to bother with the car until we left. Assigned parking spot is worth part of the room fee & well worth it! Galena is a parkibg nightmare! I'd live in this apartment if i lived full-time in Galena. Beautifil, clean & furnished with comfortable beds & nice appliances!

I couldn’t had picked a more perfect place for a weekend of shopping, good eats and entertainment with my girlfriends. What made it the best was its smack dab in the middle of it all! The kitchen was a great place for conversation, and was so happy to have stumbled across this place.

45th and 50th anniversary trip for 2 couples

Galena is a great place to visit and we enjoyed our stay. The Gazette suite that we stayed in was a nice and very clean apartment. Great location in downtown, with a reserved parking spot. ( better instructions on where parking spot was would be helpful). Communication with property management was good. We would stay here again, as long as we were sharing cost with another couple, as we did this stay. Apartment description and photos were accurate. Beds were comfy. Bedroom closets had a small hanging cloth shelve unit , which was nice. But the closets could have used a few more hangers and the bedroom could have used a folding luggage rack to use for your suitcase. Overall, a nice place, a nice town and we would come back again.

Second Visit in 3 months!

We love this place enough to not even bother with any other place to stay. Extremely clean and well laid out. Had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. This gem of an old building has been completely modernized and they made no bad choices when designing it. The two bedrooms are on opposite ends of the unit, and you really can't hear a thing. Perfect location and the owners really respond very quickly to any questions. The only thing is the 21 stairs leading up to the place, which my 83 year old mother managed just fine. The stairs are very even and there is ample lighting. Everything else is perfect!

Girls Weekend

Lovely apartment. Perfect location to everything downtown Galena. Parking was really tough in that area, so be prepared. This apartment comes with an assigned spot not too far from the door. That was nice. Would definitely recommend.
