    A Miner's Cottage nestled in a beautiful stand of aspen trees = a quiet retreat just for you!

    An entire 3 bedroom 3.5 bath accessible open layout home will be your home during your stay.
    The property is surrounded by protected wooded green space with the Taylor Run trail adjacent on the northwest side.

    The Owners Club, pools & lake are accessible by hiking or a short 5 minute drive.

Lovely home. Spacious, and loaded with things to make your stay homelike and comfy. Beautiful artwork and natural light. Really great Vrbo listing with a property manager who answered my texts within minutes throughout the stay. We loved it here and will likely return.

My family really enjoyed our stay at the Aspen house! Close to Galena, and a short drive to many other popular destinations in area. The home had everything we needed for our stay, and our host Hailey was quick with responses to questions regarding our stay. Our favorite spot was the screened porch facing the woods!

Beautiful property with lots of amenities. Having a grill on the screened-in porch was incredible; there were lots of areas to play games and/or relax; and the trail down to the lake was clearly marked and a great walk. The cabin is set in the middle of a stand of trees so feels very private. Would definitely stay here again!

The Aspen House is an amazing little place with perfect privacy and proximity to Galena. Trails are right off of the drive and the wildlife is beautiful and welcoming. We loved the amenities and the screened in porch has such a beautiful forest view. Highly recommend.

4th of July Getaway

The Aspen House was a perfect getaway in a very private setting. It was like a home away from home. The screened in porch came in handy during a of couple rain storms that passed through during our stay. Loved the terraces of the kitchen and bedroom. Our next visit will be in the Fall so we can enjoy the colors.

Wonderful fall reunion

A perfect home for a fall family reunion. We prepared most meals in the well-stocked kitchen and spent hours around the fireplace when we weren’t walking the trails around Eagle Ridge or exploring downtown Galena. Hailey couldn’t have been a nicer or more responsive host — we’ll stay here again!

My family rented this cabin for a 40th birthday getaway. What a lovely house and quiet, secluded spot to enjoy nature. Close enough to town but far enough out to feel the quiet. The owner was easy to communicate with and the house had everything we needed. Can’t recommend enough.
