"I stayed at Harry’s Home because it appeared to be in Old Town Zurich. However, the property is 45 minutes from Zurich Center on public transit. In car, the trip takes between 20 to 25 minutes. I thought it was a good deal. However, when you add the time spent in public transit and the cost, it wasn’t for me. It’s next to a mall, so if the purpose of the trip is shopping, it’s a great location. Air condition is set at 21° Centigrades. It cannot not go lower. I like to sleep with cool air and it wasn’t cold enough for me. There is no refrigerator in the room. But they were nice enough to let us keep food in the reception refrigerator. They also provided ice when we requested it. There is no phone in the room. If you need anything, you have to go down to the reception. The rooms are not cleaned daily. There is washer and dryer available for a fee. This is very convenient. Staff were always great. They help us with anything we needed. The room is spacious and clean. The bathroom is also spacious and the water pressure in the shower is great."

"2 tram rides from Zurich centre about 40 mins, trams every 15 mins and stop just outside hotel. Staff very helpful when I asked for a travel plug (different to the round 2 pin) to charge my phone (usb outlet in room no usbc). Room was clean, window had nice electrical shutters outside, breakfast was good."

"We had an amazing stay. Everything was perfect, the staff was great and very friendly. The breakfast was vast and delicious. Easy to park. Easy to get in and get out. Very informative. Lots of papers and guides to guide you through the area and the hotel. "

"Expedia fails to protect its customers when the service is not delivered as expected. During our stay, renovation work started directly above our room at 7:00 a.m. without any prior notice. The noise was extremely loud, woke us up immediately, and made it impossible to return to sleep. This significantly impacted our stay and our ability to use the room for its primary purpose. This was meant to be a short vacation to rest, but instead it was disrupted in a way that made it impossible to relax. We reported the issue to reception as soon as it opened at 8:00 a.m., after trying unsuccessfully to rest for an hour. The solutions offered were not practical, as the disruption had already occurred. The hotel staff acknowledged the issue on site and indicated that compensation would be provided. However, after our departure, they refused to offer any compensation or resolution. What is particularly disappointing is how this situation was handled by Expedia. Despite clear evidence of a service failure, the case was treated as a standard cancellation request rather than “service not provided as expected.” The case was closed based solely on the property’s response, without addressing the actual issue. As the issue remains unresolved, I have initiated a chargeback process with my bank due to the failure to provide the service as expected."

"Family room was spacious for family of four. Decent breakfast. Parking was free. Only issue was with the automated check-in kiosk. It did not find our reservation. Had to call the support number to get the check-in code for the building and room since we arrived after hours. Their reception is not manned 24/7. "
