Very well located in the lovely medieval city of Rheinfelden - a few minutes from the train station, the Rhein (as the name suggests!), shops, restaurants, cultural centres and very pretty walks. The hotel itself is well run, friendly, comfortable and peaceful. Highly recommend

An excellent hotel with high standards throughout

This is a really nice hotel situated a 5 minute downhill walk from the train station and about ten minute slow walk from the centre of town. Staff were friendly, bedroom and all public areas were immaculately presented and its well situated for a twenty minute walk to the Feldschollsen brewery where you can go on a brewery tour. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends travelling through Basel as it is an easy 18minute train drive.

In Ordnung - und ganz schön dunkel

Die Rezeption ist etwas versteckt. Ohne Vorwissen irrt man ums Haus und muss sich dann durch das und hinter dem Restaurant zur Rezeption tasten. Zimmer in Ordnung, aber recht klein. Das Frühstück war seltsam. Es war nicht ersichtlich, wo die Gäste frühstücken sollten (welcher Raum). Alles war insgesamt sehr dunkel am Morgen. Hellste Lichtquelle das Notausgangsschild. Also quasi Frühstück im Dunkeln. Die Auswahl war auch sehr begrenzt und zunächst keinerlei Personalbin Sicht (wohlgemerkt nach 7:00 Uhr). Auch die Rezeption war dann dunkel. Das scheint also Konzept zu sein. Immerhin das Restaurant war recht gut.

Ein perfekter Aufenthalt von Anfang bis Ende! Die Zimmer waren nicht nur sehr schön, sondern auch makellos sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Umgebung lädt zum Entspannen und Erkunden ein, mit vielen Möglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Personal – durchweg freundlich, hilfsbereit und herzlich. Ich habe mich rundum willkommen gefühlt und komme sehr gerne wieder!

Die Unterkunft war für eine Nacht im Einzelzimmer ok. Einen Punkt fand ich ein wenig befremdlich und ist mir noch nie untergekommen, ich war schon um 11 Uhr da und hab einfach an der Rezeption nachgefragt mit dem Wissen, das das Check-in erst um 15 Uhr möglich ist. Sie sagte kein Problem sie frage nach und meinte dann, dass Zimmer sei schon bereit, aber wenn ich jetzt schon rein möchte müsste ich bezahlen. Fand ich ein wenig komisch. Bin dann Mittagessen gegangen und danach wars dann kein Problem mehr.

Seher bequemes Bett, geräumiges Zimmer und eine sehr große Dusche.... Einziger Minuspunkt ist die fehlende Klimaanlage.... Einen Ventilator gab es, aber der ersetzt die Klimaanlage leider nicht.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr gut. Das einzige, was zu bemängeln war, war das Frühstück. Wir kamen 1Std. vor Ende, vieles war leer und wurde nicht nachgefüllt. Nachdem sich ein Herr ebenfalls beschwert hatte, wurde nachgefüllt und wir erhielten ein leckeres Rührei. Allerdings ist zu sagen, dass eine Person im Service alleine zustä dig gewesen ist.
