"Check in staff friendly. Room warm and comfortable. Soundproofing was good. Only negative which is minor is how loud doors are when closing automatically as some guests didn’t appreciate it was late at night…. But I would definitely stay here again. Lovely central hotel."

Breakfast has gone terrible this time, less choice and not impressive as it use to be few years ago, frequent traveler and often chose this hotel over others but very disappointed with the breakfast this time. "Our stay at Josie’s Snug was so perfect and exactly what we were looking for/needed! Adam was really helpful with communicating up to our stay and Jenny could not do enough to make sure our stay was complete when we forgot a few bits! We took the train in and grabbed a taxi up which was no trouble. The additional touches of croissant and jam and bathrobes were very welcomed. The hot tub was incredible. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. And the lake - what can I say? It was the highlight of our trip - pristine water and grounds offering a refreshing swim on warm days. This is just the perfect getaway if you’re looking to switch off from city life. We will definitely be back again."
