"Wonderful views from this hilltop hotel, but it's a long, steep walk back from the beaches! We took the hotel bus down to the beach and walked back after spending some time at the port. It's isolated, but there's a free bus from/to Toyohashi Station. The breakfast and dinner buffets are great, and much of the hotel has been recently renovated. Unfortunately they have changed the afternoon times for the onsen so that women have access to their part at 3pm but men from 5pm, which we found...

All transportation options are literally outside the door, and it’s an easy walk to see beautiful shrines and great restaurants. My room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. "This property is lovely! It is pretty remote, but there is an hourly shuttle bus to and from Kashikojima train station if you want to do anything off property. The food is pretty pricey and there is a cost for most activities. The onsen is beautiful. All in all I would recommend staying here. "
