Overall an excellent experience! The food to die for. We had half-board and really enjoyed the breakfast and kaiseki dinner. The free onsen, free snacks, daily wine tasting... We had it all. And of course, the breathtaking views of the Mt. Fuji right from our balcony.

Every member of the staff except one, was kind, polite and helpful. The manager declined to allow me to eat dinner because i had no reservation. There are no other restaurants nearby. And he said getting a cab would take awhile. I am a 62 year old person with back and hip issues. Instead of finding a solution he sent me down a very steep road to the 7-11 2 miles away. This is an expense resort and there was no explaintion that dining in the hotel was the only option. I was embarrassed and disrespected by only one person. Otherwise it would have been a lovely visit.

The hotel deco is slightly old style. Room is spacious with good view. Onsen is lovely. Staffs are friendly. And buffet breakfast is plentiful and many choices.

Exceptional place. Clean, beautiful rooms with a great view of Mt Fuji from inside and from the balcony if the room is facing the Mt Fuji side which most are. Breakfast was a delicious buffet of Japanese and international food. The onsens (they have shared and private ones) were clean and authentic.

The property is half-way up a little hill so it's very quiet. The rooms and dining room have an excellent view of Mt. Fuji. Our room (2 twin beds) is of a good decent size and has a bath tub and balcony facing Mt. Fuji. Buffet breakfast has both Japanese and Western dishes - lots of choices and very tasty. There is also a free late night snack of ramen. There are also 5 private baths and one public bath. All very well maintained and clean. Service is impeccable. Would definitely stay again and recommend this to my friends.

Service is great! 10 minutes driving from kawaguchiko station. Free shuttle bus every one hour during daytime. I don't like the dinner.

Loved this place! It overlooked Kawaguchiko and Mount Fuji which was incredibly beautiful. We chose the one with the bathtub at the balcony and enjoyed soaking in the scenery and water. They also had public onsens for men and women separately, and private themed onsens for couples; which were optional for us to use. We opted in for the breakfast and the spread was great. The dining hall also overlooked the view we had from the hotel room. The rooms were big with decor reminiscent of the olden days which was really interesting. It is really convenient if you are driving around (highly recommended!) and near the main spots that we wanted to see around Fuji as well. Overall, a really relaxing experience there and would definitely be back again.

It was a quiet place where shuttle bus or taxi service is definitely required. Fortunately, few taxis were at the train station 9pm on the arrival day. However, I had been awaiting taxi for at least half an hour in the rainy day and the staff refused to help call taxi. Overall, the room view was majestic, breakfast was tasty.

The property was really relaxing to stay at. The private onsens were included in the price and I loved the different themes of the private onsens. We were lucky enough to see mt fuji when we arrived. The shuttle bus was on time and swift. Staff were attentive and service was overall perfect. Would definitely recommend staying here.
