Perfect for two people looking for a quick getaway to NYs wine country. Communication with the property owners was clear and concise. Thank you for everything!"

I have rented many places all over the east coast. And never been turned away. This nearly disrupted the plans we had for the weekend, where we spent Hundreds of dollars on the local wineries and the wind mill. Thankfully, VRBO RETURNED our money and discounted the place we did stay at. which was directly a crossed the lake from this place. I come to the area frequently to visit family. I am always looking for a place to stay while in the area. I have certainly removed this one from my favorites. I normally do not give bad reviews, I am a pretty positive person. But this was un called for leaving me feeling like I had done something wrong. STOP JUDGING A BOOK BY ITS COVER. The ending can always be the truth of the story. "We were very pleased with our stay. Most important, it was CLEAN. The 4 bedrooms worked perfectly for our 6 adults and 4 kids under 10. The bedroom with bunks doubled as a play room with toys suitable for this age group. The laundry room toilet helped in a pinch. The living areas downstairs are all large - kitchen, eating area, and two living / sitting rooms. It was too cold during our stay to take advantage of the enclosed porch looking out over the lake but we imagine doing so with a cup of coffee or glass of wine would be very pleasant. Tons of wineries and a brewery are close by, with the village of Watkins Glen a short drive. I used the EV charger, a nice touch. Jason is very accommodating and incredibly responsive. "
