An absolute gem in a beautiful village.
We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Penny’s Mill and have to say that it is one of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed in.
Bill and Rosie are amazing hosts and an absolute delight.

Their home is stunning, set in the picturesque Somerset village of Nunney, complete with river and a spectacular ruin of the smallest castle in England.
Our room, Polly’s room, was beautifully appointed overlooking the garden and village. The bed itself was soooo comfy with a proper feather duvet and pillows so you couldn’t help but sleep like a log. We also had the exclusive use of a huge sitting room. Bill explained everything on arrival and we were made to feel extremely welcome.
On to breakfast, courtesy of Rosie, who is a professional cook. Homemade breads and jams, cooked to order breakfasts and bags of coffee and tea, all served in a stunning conservatory at a huge communal table so you can converse with your fellow guests.
Nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail and quality of everything from the towels, in room fridge, to the breakfast cereals was exemplary.
We can’t recommend Penny’s Mill highly enough. It’s an absolute, quintessentially English gem in a glorious setting. It’s conveniently situated for Bath, Glastonbury, Wells and beyond. We loved it.
