A great location for hiking, biking, and enjoying the area around Frisco. Perfect for our large group, at a reasonable price. The house has definitely grown over the years, and has unusual flow patterns. Definitely a lot of steps to get around the place.A number of the appliances are older; we had issues with one dishwasher losing power but there are two so it didn't cause us problems.Overall, good value for money, for a large group looking for a comfortable place in an incredible location, near outdoor activities while still on the edge of Frisco.
We stayed at Mountain Meadow Lodge for a family reunion that included 11 people, ages 18 through 58. This was a perfect location and house for our visit! Highlights include:- House was immaculate! It's obviously not a new property and isn't fancy, but everything was SO clean! - Spacious! We had even more room than we expected. The layout of the house is really conducive to both gathering as a group (dining area, living room), and allowing individuals to find quiet spaces for peace and privacy.- Charming! All the variety in the artwork, lighting and furniture lent to a feeling of someone's personal vacation home. It was cute, cozy and comfortable, not stuffy or formal.- Roomy kitchen and dining area - perfect for prepping and cooking for a large group. Lots of dishes, cookware, glassware, extra fridge, etc. While we had 11 in our group, the house could have easily accommodated several more very comfortably!- Location! Frisco was centrally located for all our activities and is a charming town. The property was very easy to find and access, but was in a beautifully peaceful, less densely populated neighborhood. Perfect!- Journey West (host) was very responsive and helpful at all phases of our stay, before, during and after. As the property is a new acquisition for the host, there were a few items that could use tweaking to increase guest comfort, but I'm certain those will be taken care of shortly for future guests. We would not hesitate to stay here again!!
