"Although we did spend a bit more on a room in the castle it was worth every penny The room was large and spotless and all of the service we received was excellent from every member of the staff nothing was ever to much trouble and they were always on hand to help The food was excellent quality and well cooked It’s set in beautiful grounds and I would not hesitate to book again If you feel like treating yourself book a few days at this hotel you won’t be disappointed "

"There was a problem with the shower it was stone cold. Robin deducted some money from my bill as a good will gester. Before we checked out a plumber was there to fix the fault for the next guest . These things happen and it hasn't put me off staying again . Food was fab room was clean and service was excellent. Definitely recommend. And will stay again."

"I booked last minute for a cycle event in the area, the directions were easy to follow, if you screenshot them as advised, phone signal is poor to non existent (bliss) The Meadow View Hut is clean cozy and well appointed, the fire burns very warm so one of the provided logs at a time. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of the fire, the heating is plenty on its own.
