"Good location, no human around, only a text message connection to answer questions. It did state it was a “contactless “check in. Room was large and bathroom very spacious. The room would benefit from a deep clean as there was some staining on chairs and carpets. Although listed as an historic property there was not much information about the house to read and no human to share the history etc."

"The best part of the unit was the location, right across from the ocean and just down the street from the sand beach. The listing was accurate - we knew we would have a partially obstructed view. The downside was the unit didn't seem to be a rental "by owner". It seemed to be a (non local) rental company. A lot of small things weren't great - beds sqeeked/creaked badly, mattresses were poor, not enough towel bars and hooks for wet towels and bathing suits, thin bath towels, no laundry, etc. Also the back bedroom could have easily fit a twin bed along with the full/queen, making it more comfortable for families. The link to the website for information on the unit was hard to navigate and not particularly helpful. This all being said, the 'owners' were very responsive the couple times we needed to reach out. If it wasn't so incredibly expensive, I would rate it higher, but for the cost we wouldn't rent here again."
